Patel and Welch belong in the same category it seems.

 

Clearly talented but their averages and most performances show exactly why other counties released them and they've ended up with us.

I’d argue the QF stage was pointless and has benefited the larger counties sadly. 
 

We finished 2nd which ultimately could have meant a semi final and the carrot of getting into a final to add competitive edge.

In fairness I was pleasantly surprised we actually qualified for the QFs, but sadly batting has been weak so often. I too think Rishi has loads of potential but he’s averaged about 10 in 9 games
