Only eight wickets taken in the first hour of the nine CC games today. Three of those to Guthrie.

Pitch looks slow and dead, can’t help with the ball too. Gonna be a high scorer, I just hope we bat well.

What’s the pitch doing? I saw an hour this morning and it looked dead for bowlers but I don’t know if that was just my interpretation

They've brought in Todd Murphy and have van Buuren as a second spinner so fingers crossed.

Yep that rate definitely increases the chance of a draw which would be a good result for us

I think a draw is a good result from here, so plan should be to bat long and avoid getting rolled out early. A good test of whether some of our batters have that in their locker, would love to see Budinger get his first ton off 200 balls today.

It wasn't terrible. Never really got away from us. Let's see how we bat. Just looks dead tbh. 

 

Played a fair bit of club cricket this though and all the pitches are quite slow low and dry. 

 

Draw isn't the end of the world
