Completely agree. It’s my favourite format and it is so sad to see it treated like a second rate competition. A full day’s entertainment with a result guaranteed every time. Love it. Only eleven months (after Sunday) to wait until the next game!

Reckon he’ll be played mainly as a white ball player, especially T20, in which he has a good record. Assume that he is effectively a replacement for Kimber, but more useful than Kimber in red ball, though his record in that is not great either.

That's great, we'll have him and Ezkazaki to strengthen the squad as Rehan will be absent for the first two. Am I right in thinking that we have 4 players of of contract at the end of the season: Wright, Walker, Salisbury and Kimber?
