Geo V Posted 25 May 2007 Posted 25 May 2007 Tony Capdali has signed for Cardiff City on a free. Gutted really although maybe that allows Mattock to make that possie his own. I am more gutted that that Hartlepools keeper Konstantopoulos has gone on a free to Cov because he is a quality keeper and better than what we have IMO and a bit downbeat that Norwich snapped up a freebie in Jon Otsemobor. 3 missed chances there!

I am eagerly waiting to see the spending power Mandaric will give Allen, lets hope we do actually buy a couple, instead of building a side completely made up of free's.

I know it's actually his job, but there's no way I could play for them (and not simply because I'm very average at football!).

I think they should get marcus bent back who was relegated with Charlton. :-)

Like i said in wish list, Roy Carroll is available according to Daily Mirror, would be a great keeper to get for any Championship club I think!
breadandcheese Posted 27 May 2007 Posted 27 May 2007 I agree about Ostemobor. Would have been an excellent signing especially because he can be fairly versatile. Norwich have got themselves a very strong defender.

Except the fact he's turned into a complete fruitcake with massive alcohol and gambling problems and has been into rehab throughout the season, maybe not the most stable person we could sign for the club

I am also friends with Brian Klugs daughter and she says they are close to signing him! So i personally dont think we stand a chance on that front.
