Allen was wearing a black technical staff shirt in one photo but beyond that havent heard anything about what the other kits will look like

Which ever one isn't black will almost definately be white.

They were also asked about the blue background of the sponsor logo and were told it was a mock up and we'd be happy with the final thing.

Yeah I've been told the same thing, the sponsors letters and logo will be applied individually not upon a background.
