It is understood that there are 4 other cubs home and abroad that wish to sign the bulgarian international

Why are we the only ones appearing in the media then? It's all paper talk or spin from his agent to maximise Kishishevs negotiation power...

Yeh, I'd say you're right there.

Although he may be a decent player, this deal really shows no ambition. 1 year players are not what we want to be looking for in my opinion.

If kishishev is ummming and awwwing about it the move then i dont want him to play for Leicester city, We need players who wanna play for this club.

Should be a straight Yes or No

Probably trying to squeeze as much money out of it as possible :dunno:

exactly, thats how i feel about any player who is a potential signing for my club...

They MUST want to play for the shirt... DIE for the shirt...

im sure fans of any club will agree...

Good luck finding one of them. Every player will look at all opportunities regardless of whether they are in the prem or in the conference.

Babylon is exactly right. Do you think Muzzy or Savage had any affinity for City before they joined? You are being naive if you do...As it turns out, they did grow to become local heroes. Remeber, Muzzy was rotting in Chelsea reserves so obviously jumped at the opportunity. Players these days will shop around to get what they think is the best deal for them and who can blame them?

Let's just hope that whoever we sign can go on to fill the gaps that we've been trying to plug with drunk or lazy Scotsmen. We've certainly not had a hero or leader on the pitch for a while (perhaps with the exception of Hume who never, ever gives up)

Anyway, this is my first post after reading these forums for some time now. Onwards and Upwards!!

Radostin Kishishev is set to be one of new Leicester boss Martin Allen's first signings. (Daily Mirror)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/g...ers/default.stm

He has much experience playing at the top level, however, occasional lapses in concentration have often resulted in his team conceding goals.

On his players page via Sky Sports, he apparently addresses the Charlton supporters in January this year asking them to forgive a few wayward passes etc. He also states that although he's getting 'older and older' he can still do a job for them albeit he may need a rest between games! Prhaps not for us then, we paly even more games in our division and at 33/34, he's not going to get any better!

Cheers.

Hmm okay, I believe you!

But if you read a few of his posts you would understand where I was coming from!

yer thracian loves those lil kiddies!!! anyway yer looks like kishi might go to southampton anyways, kinda glad hes linked with someone else i really do not want loads of smacked out past its here. id prefer to build a young team and go up to the premiership well equiped to last a few years up there.

Southampton are weighing up defender Radostin Kishishev, who has been released by Charlton. (Daily Star)

So your not a new member at all, you're an old one in disguise!!!

Thracian! Is that you???

:D :D :D

Beware of imitations!

And for the record I think it unlikely that more than two, perhaps three of our recent or current youth players will feature for City this season.

Most will need a personality transplant to have any chance. At least that's the impression I get.

In fact if I were a youth player under the new regime the first thing I'd do is join a boxing or martial arts club in my spare time - and I don't mean casually. I'd put some hours in.

Cos Allen seems to have this thing about being hard and combative so being able to take people out in an instant might be a starting point for anyone trying to earn some respect.

There's a top aikido man at Earl's Barton, Northants - so I'm told!

Charlton defender Radostin Kishishev has been offered a one year deal by Leicester City when his contract at the Valley ends this Summer. His agent explained: "He is with the Bulgaria team at the moment and is mulling over Leicester's offer."

The 32-year old spent three months on loan with Leeds last season.

Other persistent transfer rumours are linking City with Birmingham's Bruno N'Gotty and Wigan's Arjan de Zeeuw, though both these started before Martin Allen was appointed manager suggesting that Milan Mandaric might be 'hands on' when it comes to buying players.

Which defenders should we get?????????????

Seems to be taking a long time to make his mind up.

Thought we'd have heard by now if he really had been offered a contract that long ago.

He's probably toddled off on holiday since we made the offer.

Looks like he was 'toddling" in Sofia yesterday Link

"
A bad backpass from defender Radostin Kishishev in the 4th minute had goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov rushing to clear
, but he was harshly judged to have fouled Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb in the process"

Sounds familiar :(
