SystonFox Posted 19 June 2007 Posted 19 June 2007 Todorov in the next week. last freebie. Jarvis 2nd week of July to be the 1st larger (500k+) transfer fee.
dandannieldanok Posted 19 June 2007 Posted 19 June 2007 My bet is Andy O'Brien, tomorrow. I'm going for Alan O'Brien sometime this week
potter3 Posted 19 June 2007 Posted 19 June 2007 My bet is Andy O'Brien, tomorrow. Even though we havn't been linked with him
Mikey Posted 19 June 2007 Posted 19 June 2007 I'm going for Todorov. Then when in the Transfer Window we will sign Jarvis or Cohen. Also instead of Todorov it might be that Iranian kid.
Blue Bob Posted 19 June 2007 Posted 19 June 2007 My guess is a defender as we have just released Kenton, so I would think that a deal has already been sorted. No idea who though!!
Hullfox Posted 19 June 2007 Posted 19 June 2007 Listen to the inside track. As his mentor, I know that TPH was being watched at viccy park recently and not just by the LCGals. My fax has been busy all week. I just hope that Martin Allen doesn't try and curb the boy's drinking, it makes him.
Dames Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 Alan Thompson will be next to join the Grandad revolution
peza Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Todorov Would be a good signing, there was mensions before allen was appointedbut nothing since?? Anyone heard anything?
mancunianfox Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 From a joke site but I could see this one happening. At least its a new name to talk about. On the way out of the madejski will be: Shane Long on a seasons long loan to Leicester Stephen Hunt to Villa Alan Bennet will move to Derby as part of the leacock deal Sam Sodje will make his move to WBA permanent
surrifox Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Would be a good signing, there was mensions before allen was appointedbut nothing since??Anyone heard anything? no-one on this site knows anything
Lester LXXIV Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Bowyer I reckon. Any reason why or just a random guess??
ronnup Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Any reason why or just a random guess?? Guess really. Heard something off a fruiend a week a go, and there's some tripe on a silly web-site, but yeah just a guess.

I hope they missed the vast swathes of play where I stooped, hands on knees trying to catch my breath.
Mort Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 From a joke site but I could see this one happening. At least its a new name to talk about. Wouldnt mind Long to be honest... it'll be interesting to see if we are bringing players in on loan from the prem and the extent to which we go for "young and promising" or "seasoned and experianced", doesnt MM have a past record of employing loan signings?

I'd like to see Long as well. Looks like a reasonable player. Would have thought Mandaric likes loan signings given that he doesn't seem to like transfer fees too much. Not happy about the Bowyer rumour though. Hate him almost as much as Denis Wise and I don't think tha5t his signing would send a positive message out to the community.

That said, he’s a better player than Hendrie, but at the same time he brings the kind of baggage that could play havoc within the team… maybe a strong man-manager (as Allen is reported to be) could handle him, but is it worth the risk, as if it all fell through we’d have wasted a lot of money on wages on a player who’s only contribution would potentially be to disrupt the team and club as a whole. He’d be too effective a player a this level to reject out of hand… but it’s a risk I wouldn’t be keen on taking… doubt anything will come of it anyway, though as you say the Long rumour is perhaps encouraging (if it has any basis).
The People's Hero Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Bowyer is overrated anyway. Granted he'd be good in the Championship - he definitely would. Don't want him here though.
mancunianfox Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Would rather have Kaabi anyway and I doubt that he would be enticed by the chance to play alongside a someone with a reputation like Lee Bowyer. Plus what he did at Newcastle was absolutely inexcusable.

However I hope Billy Sharp comes. My mate plays for s****horpe, taylor and he advised that billy sharp wants to come to leicester however we hvnt shown interest! I hope we do, he is a very good player.
