I suggest you duck before flying objects hit you.

I'm fully prepared for that. But people seem blind to the obvious

No people are quite aware of the way MM operates they just happen to have a tad more patience and are prepared to wait until facts and evidence prove anything.

Clemence's preferred option would be to stay with Birmingham as they look to re-establish themselves as a Premiership side next season but his future remains uncertain with several clubs, including the Foxes monitoring his situation.

Aged 29. Wants a three year deal on at least the same money, if not more.

I'd take him, but Mandaric needs to play hardball with the potential greedy twats and keep those wages down in this league.

As much as I agree that we don't want to play overblown wages, I think that is going to be the only attraction for players like Clemence and to be perfectly honest his potential greed doesn't fuss me. That is a measure of how poor I believe our midfield has been.

Big spending Leicester!!! Haha! We've spent whatever nominal fee it was for Casino Jimmy and that's all. What a joke. Also, is it me or have we been led to believe that there's a good chance of signing players who we never really stood a chance of signing? Saganowski, Ilic, (Hendrie?) all come to mind. It strikes me that MM has a way of making it look like he's a good enough businessman to convince people to come, but in reality he's failing quite badly.

That said, I am becoming increasingly impressed with the signing of Cort. Maybe though, that's because we've still not got anyone better in. It's been said before that we need a whole new midfield but we're signing a load of defenders - the one position (left back excepted) where we have/had cover. Bizarre.

All in all, this process is disillusioning me. I am happy to be proven wrong, but I don't see us bringing in any 'exciting' players between now and the end of August, despite repeatedly being promised some.

Good post, except I don't rate the signing of Cort as much as you. Sick-note, not quite the full shilling, nightmare wife. A recipe for disaster.

I'm a little bored of the Mandaric flannel and the Allen "let's re-asphalt the car park" soundbites. And I'm a little confused about who the manager of our club actually is at times.

Still, I'll judge on results. 20 league wins and they can have they keys to the City.

I agree mostly with what you say, although I fear you'll be disappointed by Cort. As for not standing a chance with players like Hendrie, to be fair to MM has been quoted to have put in the firmest offer to Hendrie.

FECK :nono: Clemence off to join Paddy Mac??

Friggin' Londoners think it's the centre of the bastid universe.

*rant over*

Anyone know if this site is full of shite? Also, I don't know anything about Julian Gray :dunno: ( I know I can google or wiki him, but I still won't know if he's any good!)

Would we prefer him or Clemence?

Just looked at Leicester on there....not guessed one signing correctly. EEJITS.

:blush:I think i'll look a bit longer next time before I start ranting.

Football Transfers is merely a collection of rumours from other sources - namely the tabloid national papers and a couple of other sources. If they've not got any transfers correct, one should point the finger at the uselessness of the likes of the Daily Mail, The Sun, News Of The World and so on, rather than the Football Transfers website itself.

One website that's 100% full of complete tosh is the dreaded Football Rumours - a website from which rumours cannot be posted on FoxesTalk, for that very reason (it's full of tosh, any old idiot can get a rumour up there - and a few FTers have done just that).

Hey, look, we want to re-sign Les Ferdinand.

West Bromwich Albion

In Out

Craig Beattie (Celtic, £?), David Murphy (Hibernian, £?) Diomansy Kamara (Middlesbrough, £45m),

The Les Ferdinand link was part of a dream management team with Paul Ince, some time ago. Obviously some dingus misread the situation.

I'd love him, he'd probably be better than Kisnorbo

That's not too difficult as Kisnorbo was truly awful in midfield, was he not?

Stephen Clemence is ready to quit Birmingham for Leicester after Brum rejected his pleas for a new contract. Midfield enforcer Clemence 29, was City's player of the year last term when the finished 2nd in the Championship to gain promotion.

Clemence's unhappiness has reached Foxes owner Milan Mandaric who is weighing up a £500,000 bid for his services.

From the mirror.

would be a great signing ..hes proved it at this level with birmingham last season unlike stephen hughes and would be more than a good replacement :worship:

But folks make a good point... they have zero cash this season (unless their board are going to be really stupid and bring admin even closer!).
