Not this then?

Meanwhile, Leicester have called a press conference for 9am on Friday to announce their 11th signing of the summer. They have been strongly linked with Birmingham pair Stephen Clemence and DJ Campbell, so it could well be one/both of them.

Take it you mean this...

"Meanwhile, Leicester have called a press conference for 9am on Friday to announce their 11th signing of the summer. They have been strongly linked with Birmingham pair Stephen Clemence and DJ Campbell, so it could well be one/both of them."

...did any of our other signings have their own "press conferences"? Coz I don't think so, so sounds like it could be a pretty hefty deal if we're calling a press conference, so may be Clem and DJ? :dunno:

Re: Stephen Clemence/DJ Campbell double bid

Press conference at the walkers at 9 in the morning .... soon know if its Fowler or Clemence or DJ Cambell ... or someone else!

Yeah, the thing is - I'm at the docs tomorrow at 0910 so this is no good for me as I'll be in the car.

Can someone text Martin Allen and ask him to make it 0945-1000. I'm sure Sky Sports can just pad it out for half an hour by making up something about Michael Owen.

Cheers.

If there is a press conference I'm sure it will be for Clemence ;) .

Not sure about Campbell.

I think it might be both as the Clemence signing could have been announced today, and they would obviously want them to announce them both together for the headlines and to show ambition within the club to get the present anti Milan/Martin regime to be excited about the season.

Fcuk the anti Milan/Martin brigade!

They will NEVER be happy!:thumbup:

Daily Mail

DJ Campbell is to be reunited with Martin Allen after Leicester City agreed a £2million package with Birmingham for the striker, fending off late interest from Charlton.

Campbell, who worked alongside Allen at Brentford, has been offloaded by Steve Bruce for a £1.5m fee with a further £500,000 due if Leicester are promoted.

Birmingham midfielder Stephen Clemence has already agreed a three year deal at Leicester and been made captain.
