To be fair Brum had Vine, Bedtner, McSheffrey, Jerome and Forsell as well as DJ, so it shouldn’t suggest that Campbell is anything less than a very accomplished championship striker… his lack of starts was a combination of injury and the fact that Brum had an absolute wealth of strikers to choose from.

Cant really compare it to the competition he’d get from a strike force of Cort, Fryatt and Hume.

Ah don't forget Sappleton, Dodds, Odihambo, Gradel(?), Hammond and De Vries (who despite both being on the transfer list, will more than likely still be here come Sept)

I think that kind of changes his competition for a starting place abit don't you reckon?

Thats what I'd have thought, plus we've got players involved with training, gives us time to continue talks with Campbell (and perhaps others), so probably all to be confirmed towards the very end of the week.... at least i hope so!
