I'd rather have DJ above McLeod and possibly Fowler. Definetly DJ above McLeod - £2 million seem a bit over the top, but as someone already said it looks like Allen is runnning out of options and we surely need a striker of DJ's quality.

People want quality players but then moan when we pay out for one, as others have said options are running out and prices generally go up later in the trnasfer window, so 2 million seems a good enough deal.

But we also need a left midfielder more urgently as porter is too inconsistant, although he might have a great season...

Though it seems all strikers this summer have inflated prices. Im going to have to go against the status quo here, and suggest that id prefer McLeod to OJ

Im going to have to go against the status quo here, and suggest that id prefer McLeod to OJ All the extra money that has come in from foreign investors and Sky hasnt helped. The likes of Chopra and Nugent going for big money after only 1 or 2 decent seasons is inflating the price for average strikers. I think pricing DJ above the price for Eastwood and Sharp is a bit excessive.

Hope we are not paying more than 1.5million for him, because 2million is just taking the piss I think. I guess it's Milan's money though! Would still prefer two 1 Million pound players than one average/potentially good striker!
