What about another striker from Birmingham Camerone Jerome would problay cost about 2 million but would score goals in this league, like he did at Cardiff

Obviously i'd rather have Jerome, but I seriously doubt he'd be available for the same price as DJ. You'd be looking at an extra million.

Did you get that price tag from football rumours, where Sheff Wed have reportedly put a 2m bid in for him..

I don't want to even begin with what is wrong with this.

No. Birmingham paid about 4 million for him and seen as he didn't have a very good season last year and wasn't in the team much i thought his valuation might have dropped.

Has a bit of an attitude problem though ive been told from a Birmingham fan

Has DJ had a wank in a pot at Bupa yet?

Not heard a thing today unfortunately.

If campbell is "cumming" you'll be the first to hear about it.

Im of the opinion that DJ Campbell is not good enough so here hoping he fooks off to Watford instead. There's better out there worth the money and i hope MA and MM can go out there and find them.

Id honestly prefer and almost has been like Robbie Fowler.

I dont think that he has been given a proper chance in the Championship to prove what he can do as he was only a bit part player last season so this could be his chance to prove he can score goals :worship:

£2m is an expensive gamble on a "bit part player though.

Especially when we already have one of those in Matt Fryatt.

On skysportsnews they have just said that campbell is very close to signing

Who said this and did they mention a source? Explain yourself.

Its like when someone posted Leicester HAD signed Hendrie, N'Gotty and De Zeeuw, not mentioning to us that it was just a rumour from a paper.

It wasn't until three days later I realised we hadn't :(

I hate SSN.

I hate....

Oh, I really must calm down.

SSN loses it's reputation when it reports paper talk such as Ronaldinho to Newcastle.

From birmingham evening mail.

BLUES were today expecting DJ Campbell's future to finally be resolved.

Leicester City remain favourites to sign the striker in a £2million deal.

Watford have entered the battle, but Steve Bruce said the Foxes were determinedly serious.

"Watford came in and have shown an interest," said the Blues boss.

"I would expect something to have been done by the end of the day.

"In an ideal world I think our MD would like to have both clubs agree the fee then leave it up to DJ.

"But, as we speak, Leicester are the only ones to put their money where their mouth is. They have lodged a bid. Watford have threatened it, but not come up with anything yet."

I hate unsubstantiated rumours.
