maddog Posted 13 August 2007 Author Posted 13 August 2007 And he was absolutely shit there and the Charlton fans hated him, to be fair. he still scored a few good goals at Charlton, i rekon he will be on about £20,000 a week at Leicester, don't think he will demand any more than that.
MC Prussian Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 According to wikipedia, he's already with us: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Floyd_Hasselbaink Some really funny people out there, really.
Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 We better still buy a left-back who's old enough to get into pubs and a left-winger who's tall enough to get on the rides at Chessington World of Adventures. I think the 3 or 4 new faces will all be strikers.

wirralsimon Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Could well be as good a signing for us as Ravenelli was for Derby! Talent not in doubt, but I can only imagine what his reaction would have been to the 'Toilet Cleaning' exercise a couple of weeks ago! Simon

Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 he still scored a few good goals at Charlton, i rekon he will be on about £20,000 a week at Leicester, don't think he will demand any more than that. Two goals. In 25 appearances. By all means get excited about him signing but let's not pretend he was good last season. But then he never had to play S****horpe last year. But then Charlton couldn't beat S****horpe. You'd think I'd have a point. I haven't.
maddog Posted 13 August 2007 Author Posted 13 August 2007 lets try and sign Nickolas Anelka now to partner him
Dr The Singh Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 We better still buy a left-back who's old enough to get into pubs and a left-winger who's tall enough to get on the rides at Chessington World of Adventures. I'm going West Midlands Safari Park this weekend, i'll have a look there for you!!!
MC Prussian Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Yet... another overly hyped player to waste his time at Leicester.

I wonder if we could use my idea of firing Hasselbaink in to the Walkers with a catapult?

I haven't. doesn't really matter if he had a bad season last year, Kisnorbo was shit for his first season for us now hes good, De Vries can't be that good a example yet but he still has improved a lot since under Levein.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I think he's here as a threat to Fryatt. Run or get Buggered. New idea for the box office!!
Simi Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 doesn't really matter if he had a bad season last year, Kisnorbo was shit for his first season for us now hes good, De Vries can't be that good a example yet but he still has improved a lot since under Levein. Mainly because Kisnorbo played centre midfield.
Brainy Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 lets try and sign Nickolas Anelka now to partner him I'd usually take that as sarcasm, but coming from you, im not so sure.
maddog Posted 13 August 2007 Author Posted 13 August 2007 Yet... another overly hyped player to waste his time at Leicester. he wont be a waste of time he will score quite a lot of goals i rekon. This is the Championship and he's used to prem, im sure he should score at least 15 in this division easily if he's fit and plays
MC Prussian Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Not really, one is supremley talented the other just runs round like a twat and is reasonable at finishing. Don't believe the hype until you've actually seen it play for us.
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 doesn't really matter if he had a bad season last year, Kisnorbo was shit for his first season for us now hes good, De Vries can't be that good a example yet but he still has improved a lot since under Levein. Not the greatest of examples, Kisnorbo was playing out of position in midfield.
Mort Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Not the greatest of examples, Kisnorbo was playing out of position in midfield. Makes you wonder if we're bringing JFH in with a view to coverting him into a leftback...
Dr The Singh Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I think he's here as a threat to Fryatt. Run or get Buggered. New idea for the box office!! I get the feeling Fryatt's days are numbered, I doubt Hasselbaink will want to keep the bench warm!!!
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Don't believe the hype until you've actually seen it play for us. He only said he's supremely talented. Which is true. In fact, I'd say it was indisputable. Whether he shows it at LCFC on the pitch is up for debate I suppose. But there is no doubting his talent. Alexander - 1.5 (arguing about something without understanding what they actually said). Mablo + 1.5 (I love a bit of Mablo in the morning).
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Don't believe the hype until you've actually seen it play for us. Alex, shush up mate, Jimmy Fllody has talent I don't need to listen to the hype or wait to see him "Play in a city shirt" as I've spent the last 10 odd years watching him thank you, as many others have, hence the excitement, he might be too old to use it effectively but he has more talent in his little finger than Paul Dickov, who is also old.
maddog Posted 13 August 2007 Author Posted 13 August 2007 Not the greatest of examples, Kisnorbo was playing out of position in midfield. yer well he still could have played better there
Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Let's hope his next film is better than that crap one he was in last year.
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Let's hope his next film is better than that crap one he was in last year. You're thinking of Nicholas Cage.
