I believe my grading system using ancient Greek symbols was by far the most reliable.

I particularly liked that one too, especially during that 10 day period where you expressed through the medium of mime.

If he signs for cardiff and gets 15-20 goals I'm going to be pissed, unless we're top of the league......yeah right.

JFH could not even get in a struggling Charlton team last year and has not been fit for over a year. M.a saying come on trial was a good thing and in the end he showed his truth colours by saying get stuffed. my guess is he wanted big money to top up his already big retirement fund. he is out spoken and not a team player.

Bring in Rasiak. spend big and he will bag 20 goals a season, proven goal scorer, un like, dj, cort, frayatt etc

goals win leagues

Well at least we missed out on this fook up!

Ridsdale reiterates Jimmy stance

16:01, July 30, 2008

Chairman Peter Ridsdale has reiterated his stance that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will not be handed a second year's deal at Cardiff.

The Bluebirds and 34-year-old veteran former Dutch international were meeting at the Professional Footballers' Association on Wednesday to try and resolve the dispute between club and player.

Hasselbaink claims he is owed another season in South Wales according to the terms of his initial contract signed last summer, but Ridsdale says it was verbally waived in January after discussions with the player, who scored nine goals in 44 games as he helped them reach the FA Cup final.

Ridsdale said: "There's no way of him coming back to Cardiff."

He added: "Jimmy argues that he has another year on his contract but we know that is not true.

"When someone tells you their word is their bond, then you do like to think that would be enough."

PFA chief Gordon Taylor has got the two parties together in an effort to come to some sort of agreement.

Taylor said a few weeks ago: "When there is a dispute, you refer to what is down on paper in the contract.

"We are looking to resolve the situation around the table without having to resort to a process of law either in football or in the courts."

To be honest, I was wrong about him being entirely useless - he was only mostly useless, once he had lost half his bodyweight and Fowler was out of the way, he became only an average level of rubbish. Absolutely great goal against Wolves in the cup, mind.

Was bizarre that Ridsdale tried to keep Fowler but not him, considering how Fowler was even worse and permanently injured. Presumably in it for the shirt sales.

Am I one of the only people not creaming themselves about this?

Good call, Ched.

I have high hopes for JFH, not least because it means we will have someone in the team that can kick a dead ball properly

I was right all along - his 9 goals would have kept us up for sure! :yesyes:

:whistle::unsure::D

:D

Come you have to admire the comedy genius of this 'maddog' buffoon. Surely this has to be the ramblings of a comedy multi

Please come back.

Hmmm are you implying that Allen = Barton Fox :P

Just another sad reminder of the meddling idiot that runs this club :(

Mind you though, we could have done with Hasselbaink last season. Even though he often lacked fitness he scored quality goals and helped some younger players on I'm sure...
