played with and against him a few times, he was that good he played in the year above occasionally. Great prospect. Although like it's been mentioned last time I played against him he was CB, havn't really seen him up front. But he has got that play anywhere ability and I hope we'll see him knocking on the 1st team's door in the future.

Played against him for primary school...Highgate Primary, Sileby against Woodhouse Eaves (Billy's School). He was massive. He had a shot and a half on him. F^ck me, scared the stoole out of me :(

Won 4-2 however :P

He told me that he was a centre back at first for his younger days in the academy (under 12/13, summot like that). Then one game he played up front and scored about 5/6 and has been a striker ever since.

2 more goals at the weekend, makes it 10 goals in 4 games!

Dissapointed to not see him in the Reserve team squad tonight ahead of Sappleton on that form.

Yes same here he should be challenging for a place on the first teams bench on current form

He`s only played 4 games hasn't he? Why do people want to rush him straight into the reserves?! Let the lad learn to walk before we expect him to run. :nono:

Billy Kee's no little boy lost. He'd have plenty of mates like Billy McKay, Joe Magunda and Ricky Sappleton around him and deserves his place in the squad on merit, simple as that.

I'm sure he'll get that chance. The thing is though, at 16, he's a very important member of the Under 18's and i'm sure our club want to make sure we challenge for the league title again this season. Playing reserve matches 2 days after the Under 18's games at the weekend means that it's not very wise to have these lads playing 2 games in 3 days regularly.

Kee is ripping it up at the minute and he'll be flying high with confidence, his next step will be to prove he can do this over a period of time. If he's still scoring freely in a few months time, i'd expect he'll be in and around the first team, let alone the reserves.

This kid is exactly what we're missing in our team.

Get the fu cker playing upfront with Ricky Sappleton and then we've got a strike partnership!

If you were a QPR defender getting ready for this weeks game and you had a choice between playing against Sapps & Kee or Hume & Fryatt?? Yeah, makes our current strike force laughable. I just hope our next management team has some intelligence because the last crop we had were all a bunch of incompetent cretins who didn't have f cuking clue what they were doing.

Get Kee in the reserves for a month then into the first team.

I'd like to see a front 5 of Hume, Sappleton, Kee, Campbell and Djeziri

Sappleton and Kee the strikers from hell to Academy opponents. Not sure the Thames Barrier would cope with that pair together! :D

The level of goalscoring desperation in Leicester has reached a new peak.

What worries me slightly and it's a good problem, is that we've got too many good young strikers coming through. I just hope we don't neglect any of them.

Odhiambo

Chambers

McKay

Kee

Sappleton

It's hard to keep all of them on track because we've still got fringe strikers like Fryatt, Cort & de Vries who'll be playing in the reserves and there's this Djeziri that will crop up anywhere across the front line.

As I said, it's a nice problem to have. But how do you determine who's the youngsters who are likely to make the grade and which one's possibly aren't? It will be hard to keep the above 5, that's why it's good to loan one or two out.

You forgot Elvis.

Seriously though, why people want to rush a 16-year-old when he is playing for the Under-18s leaves me baffled. We have so many young strikers who need to go through the process ahead of Kee - the likes of McKay, Chambers and to a lesser extent Odhiambo who is already undergoing an important stage of his career out on loan. These players have proven in the past that they can do the business at the same level as Kee is performing at currently. They are the ones that need to be first choice in the reserves and challenging for a place on the bench in the first team. And whoever our new manager is needs to decide whether he really wants or needs the likes of Fryatt because I can't see the point of him playing in the reserves. Either he's good enough for the first team or he's not.

As with everything at the club at the moment, we need a new manager to lay down the law and make some tough decisions.

Nailed it. I agree.

Fez is right on the button, these days. Quite unlike past months. He's maturing. Discarding the unpredictability, fickleness and petulance of youth.

Fair play to the lad and a big pat on the back.
