Flynny Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 [email protected] E-mailed this: If the rumours are true about Allen going I'm disgusted both as a football fan and a Leicester fan. I want to express my utter disgust at his sacking and hope that Martin Allen knows that he had the full support of all of us at Leicester City, except Milan, I suppose. I also hope that Milan knows what an unpopular decision he's making. He needs to put aside his personal feelings and let a talented manager get on with his job. I don't even have the channel, tell me if it's read out.
Joe. Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Yeah I sent one in too. Saying: It would be a terrible decision if Allen was sacked. Mandaric would lose so much respect from the fans. Big mistake Milan
Matt Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I have just sent a last ditch email to Milan. In brief I have basically said - Come on Milan it's time to make a statement, If it's true you gonna lose alot of fans and respect and something will Kick Off, If it's not true you NEED to come out and make a statement. The worry for me is that Milan likes to be in the media, and Milan has not spoke at all about this, You would think he would come out quite quickly and deny if this wasn't true. On the other hand though Milan likes to be in the media and while he's keeping quiet the media will just keep reporting this thus keeping Milan in the media...Swings and roundabouts I spose.
Monk Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I didnt believe the hype when this first reared its head a fortnight ago, and I still dont believe it now. The story on SSN shows nothing new on there. Its old news. If a press conference is called tomorrow it is most likely to be a signing or in relation to Clarke. Mandy is a shrewd businessman, he isnt stupid. The media are really starting to piss me off on this one In the unlikely event that it is true, I like most of you will be furious, unless there is an extremely good reason (like we've signed Ronaldinio and Ranieri is going to be manager)

Hackneyisblue Posted 29 August 2007 Author Posted 29 August 2007 We could of course be jumping to conclusions. Perhaps tomorrows press confrerence is to unveil MURPHY!!!! You'll all look like a bunch of whiners then. If of course he has sacked Allan and replaced him with Roeder or Warnock rather than Paul Jewel then you'll all look very sensible indeed.
Bryn Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Jewell would appease me. I'd still be annoyed though because sacking our manager after 3 league games makes us look like a bunch of tits.

Wouldn't even want Jewell.

Simi Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 The Plymouth curse to continue ? Levien sacked at Plymouth. Kelly sacked at Plymouth. ....
Chriss Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Too late for a petition? http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1101922,00.html
bainesy Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 i have to say that i disagree with some people on this thread calling MM and talking of chants and protest's. i love MA like everyone on here but i also respect that MM is pumping his own money to get us back were we belong. where would we have been without him. for the record MA is a good manager and will get another job but MM is at the helm and we have to trust him

stripeyfox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 SACKED - OFFICIAL! Or "parted company by mutual consent" - seems a bad decision to me
Wycombe Fox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 WTF?!?!?!? Potentially the best City manager since Martin O'Neill and he's gone after 4½ competitive games? Not impressed - really felt we had someone who could relate to the fans.
breadandcheese Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I've been supporting city since the first year of Brian Little's reign when I was taken to Filbert Street as a young boy. In that time, I've seen lightening strike twice with play-off heartache penalties, comebacks where we've had no right to earn any points, cup wins, little us playing in Europe, Pierpoint and his band of merry men trying to force O'Neill out, La Manga part one with Collymore and a fire extinguisher, little us top of the premier league, £5 million being spent on Akinbiyi, administration, transfer embargoes placed on us after admin, La Manga part two with accusations of rape and assault, the revolving door policy of free transfers, the throwing away of leads when the wins are virtually in the bag, possibly the worst team in our history two seasons ago, a protracted takeover saga, a public dispute with Hasselbaink on SSN over what he was offered, now the horrible instance of a player collapsing and virtually dying on the dressing room floor.....Yet in all this time, I never thought I would see Leicester turn into such a circus if this proves to be true and Allen is sacked, with the lack of courtesy that goes with it being announced through Sky Sports News website first. In the tough situation we are in with our players seeing something that will have left most of them extremely shaken and spooked last night, Allen is the perfect manager with his driving attitude. The sort of person you'd want alongside you in any fight.
Parsons Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 this is fooking stupid what the fook is he doing, sure its not just because of hasselbank.... if it is then he is a fooking cock!
