Its absolutely hammering it down here, thunder and lightning. It's been like it all week apart from Sunday, hot sunshine till teatime and then it pisses it down. Want it to clear up so we can go out and get some grub.

nah not as of yet, still a bit stumped as to where's best to get to from up north, or whether to make it a week and go to two nearby places from london. got leeds fest at the end of aug that is needing paying for then the next european trip will come after that, maybe mid october if enough can get money and time together, if not then either just before/just after the christmas/new year time.

quite enjoy a january break, a few weeks of post christmas depression in work followed by a little holiday, really sets the year up.

then obviously next summer the aim is to join 95% of the rest of english (probably british by the looks of it!) men by going to france and sleeping wherever we can watching whatever footy we can getting as pissed as we can for as little as possible. classic  :englandsmile4wf:

I've been eyeing up Ljubljana in Slovenia with a few mates, looks beaut.

Would love to go to the Epson derby again.

Been six weeks since laid off from old job.

Feels like six months; starting to feel the effects of looking and 'failing'.

About 18 months ago I adopted a kitten from Redgate farm near Markfield. At the time they had two kittens from the same litter left, and I chose the ginger one. I only work a few miles from Redgate and for the past year or so there's been a cat hanging around the yard at work, and today for the first time I got close enough to give him a fuss, and I noticed he has exactly the same marking as the kitten i didn't choose, black with a white tuft of furr under his chin and another near his tail. So I'm pretty sure my cats brother is wondering around my work. lol probably a boring story, but I thought it was weird coincidence.

What dog did you get?

When I went they were having trouble with gypsies trying to steal Staffies, and for some reason the kittens. They can lock the kittens in the building, but couldn't stop them taking two of the Staffies in the end.

Horrible cvnts, probably used them for dog fighting.

Dog's in my avi, he's a beagle jack russell cross.

lol Didn't even register that your dog might be that one!

"Is that your dog in the avi?"

"Yeah, I like being reminded of him"

"What happened to him"

"No he's just upstairs"

There is another TRJFPcafe  at the old library on Belvoir Street today (Sat) I have been volunteered to do some meeting and greeting.

Tonight at the Kings Head is a Rock Night with DJ Steve on until 2am if any of the old timers are interested in doing some head banging.
