Had a chat with my brother. He doesn't think I should do the market trading thing. He says that I would not be able to sell enough to make it worthwhile or the amount I would have to sell would be too much and my profit margin would be low. He did the figures which I thought he would.

I'm at lost to what else I can do other than get lucky and get a job.

Other people make a living at it, if you want to do it and you think you can make a go of it just do it, don't let others put you off.

Investmen £1000

Stock-------£0815/12 mont70.8 for goods

Remainder£10115

Sell stock 100% mark up £1630/12month=£135 per month income=33.75 per week

Still to come off rental and storage of goods

Even over six months its only just over £67 PW

Don't know if the math is exact but my brother is a mathamatician and does other peoples buisness plans.

Plus there is competition from other traders selling the same stuff with more knowledge about what they are selling..

Its a very big risk at my age although if I was offered some casual work on the market to help out somebody I may take it. If I am offered enough I could come off the JSA,

Have an interview at the job centre with disability asssessment advisor next Tuesday. Last time I was shown on a PC screen the symbol to indicate companies that accept the disabled. Well a quick lokk showed - no vacancies for what I could do.

I have been looking today and noticed there are some adverts for stewards at the Olympics and they were had Leicester as the location. I don't know if its paid lodging or what but I have sent off for details. Think it was £9 per hour if I have the right one. Still a few month off though but it'll be something to put down on my jobsearch card.

There was a launch of the new project for a magazine for Action Homeless Down Not Out. Going to a journalist course so i can do volunteer work for it. It is lottery funded so pretty big but it is only volunteering.

All I want to do is get rid of my reliance on JSA double my income be it work and tax credits or work and a little rent and CT rebate if I qualify. Is that too much to ask for?

BRILLIANT DAY TODAY!!

I was at work at the gym and on the prowl for new clients, come 6pm I had been there for 8 hours and not got a bean. Then just as I was about to chalk up a wasted day and throw in the towel, I guy I've been trying to coax into becoming a client for weeks turned up out of the blue and just decided to book some sessions! BOOM!

There's actually two sides to this, one obviously being I get a new client so more income and as this is a brand new biznazz any income is welcome.

The second being that this guy is genuinely a nice guy - I have helped him out in the gym a few times and showed him some stuff and he has always been really gratefull and always says hello with a giant grin on his face too. His English isn't great, he's from Pakistan (I think he said he played Cricket for Pakistan but I'm not too sure). Anyway im just looking forward to working with him!

Boring. Could not connect to the internet till just now. Never got a text as to the media group was meeting. i had put a couple of cameras in my bag ready. Appraentlly th two marches went with no trouble.

Called virgin up after uplugging and plugging back in all my wires to my PC. Eventually got through after having to listen to crap piped music. Mr Branson, we are not all 15 years old you beared git.

Hmmm. Had only five hours sleep so was a bit grouchy. About the same time as Leicester go down 1-0 at Brighton, my iPhone packs in, dead as a Dodo.

On the way home it starts to snow, meaning travelling becomes a little harder. So not been brilliant so I think I'll head out and meet a mate for a few bevvies. Catch a lift from my old man into town, step out the car and immediately slip straight over. I've just got back from the hospital, broken ankle and off work for potentially eight weeks

Still, there's always tomorrow eh :fc: .

Boring again. Only just managed to log on and I had to install my mobile dongle to do it. I was going to finish with it. Should have cancled the contract last week. Only one month left on it. Don't use it now I dont have work to take it too. They did half the allowance to 0.5MB at £5.29 for the last two months.

Got someone coming from Virgin to look at my modem. Its still a NTL Home one. Had it a few years so hoping they'll change it for a better one. Disabled the connection so as to connect with the dongle. Its been playing up for a week or two. Logged on last night after 10pm after trying all day. Thoyght it'll be OK this morning as all the lights on the Modem were flashing but even though the popup said connected I kept losing it. I did log on for 5 min first thing then lost it.

One good thing I suppose not being on my PC all day was that I have manage to tidy my flat up. I can actuall walk across the floor without having to step over stuff. Just a little bit near my arm chair to do. and sort out a place to put chargers plugs etc I use for laptops phones etc. Dont want to tidy them away then not be able to find them. Tidying up was how I found my Three dongle. Been looking for it since my connection has been going wrong.

Realised I must be old when I read this on somebody's Twitter profile:

"crazy fun loving mum who loves old skool redbull and vodka!"

How is vodka and Red Bull old skool?!

I reckon a pint of mild could probably be called old skool. But vodka Red Bull? That wreaks very much of nu skool to me.
