teblin Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Meadwell, Bullshit I just heard it. "refusing to comment on whether KK has been at the walkers"
Louise Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 If you're talking about Leicester Sound, I heard the report just now and there seemed very little in it to me.
Trumpet Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 "Didn't know he was still playing, if he is i would swap him for De-Vries!!" haha
meadwell5 Posted 12 September 2007 Author Posted 12 September 2007 Meadwell, Bullshit Cheers mate but not wanted
Bert Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 If the new manager is in charge before Saturday i think the caretaker manager should still be in charge for the game, because the new manager will barely have 2 days with the squad to get his ideas across.
Blue Bob Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 The rumour gathers steam!http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A26805530 Could just be another rumour. Has anyone heard this broadcast on Leicester Sound - I had it on earlier and didnt hear a thing. SSN is usually pretty hot on these things and they have not reported anything either. Saying that I would love it if he was the next manager. Excellent experience and should help us attract quality players.
Louise Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I heard it on Leicester Sound, but what it said was that 'LCFC have refused to comment on a rumour that KK is at the Walkers for an interview, saying they don't comment on media speculation'.
Babylon Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I heard it on Leicester Sound, but what it said was that 'LCFC have refused to comment on a rumour that KK is at the Walkers for an interview, saying they don't comment on media speculation'. They commented on the fact we didn't want Warnock and Sturrock. Using that logic this seems to be true.
Babylon Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Win % Newcastle United 54.98 Fulham 62.29 Manchester City 43.75 Yes please
Fez of Mahrez Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 If the new manager is in charge before Saturday i think the caretaker manager should still be in charge for the game, because the new manager will barely have 2 days with the squad to get his ideas across. If it's Keegan then he should perform Head Over Heels In Love live with Milan on tambourine and the first eleven players to get up and dance are in the team.
hairy Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Win %Newcastle United 54.98 Fulham 62.29 Manchester City 43.75 Yes please On that basis he will do very nicely. But I doubt it is true. Everything started by 'a friend in the ticket office' never seems to happen. The ticket office must be having a right laugh
Kilworthfox Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 It would be nice to see some all out attacking football, would be nice but I thought he had retired?
Simon Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Win %Newcastle United 54.98 Fulham 62.29 Manchester City 43.75 Yes please I'm trying NOT to get too excited until we hear something concrete, and then you go and post that.
Master Fox Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Win %Newcastle United 54.98 Fulham 62.29 Manchester City 43.75 Yes please Can beat a good stat!
Blue Bob Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Win %Newcastle United 54.98 Fulham 62.29 Manchester City 43.75 Yes please Good stats, better than most of the candidates that have been mentioned.
Flexx Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Milan probably couldn't give a toss what his record is like, he's high profile, we'll be in the news, GET HIM IN
Jon the Hat Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited. Not going to get excited.
Joe. Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Well it's definitely interesting... I wouldn't mind him here, think he could do a decent job.
ronnup Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Can beat a good stat! forftytwelve percent of people know that....
Blue Bob Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Milan probably couldn't give a toss what his record is like, he's high profile, we'll be in the news, GET HIM IN Not so sure I agree. Martin Allen is not high profile so why appoint him - neither was Worthington. Look at Newell he spouted off too much and no one seems to want to touch him. Remember MM is a business man, he has just put in millions and he will want a return on his investment - the best way to do that is get into the premier league and get the TV cash. He wants someone who has the experience to get them there. Keegan has been there and done it so would fit the mold MM has in mind. He is also very passionate about what he does - he is a winner, he was as a player and he was as a manager. I am sure MM wants to be in the news but for the right reasons.
Flexx Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I look a bit stupid (for my above post) after reading this on Wiki. 'At every club that he managed, he won promotion as champions in his FIRST season'. Milan has surely took note of this
josh_baskin Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I spotted keegan leaving the holiday inn last night.
