Raj Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Absolute CACK last night, but I will take the WIN!! Can't take any positives from last night other than the win. I thought performance was very poor and bored me with the endless lack of attacking ideas from us. Sure we defended and kept them out for 90mins but unless we want 0-0 bore draws for rest of season, I can't see us having much success playing like that again. Very fortunate to go through against a Prem side with performance like that! Nahh I'll stick with just no.6 the WIN thanks Glad you went then??? Your glass is always half empty i bet!!!

I know, I am normally a positive person, I guess it could be because I was sat with Villa fans for this one, so mood wasn't great! I just think we were very poor last night and didn't show any real signs of a team that could be challenging for the league this season. I know it's still early yet but these Cup games are sposed to be open and attacking and a chance for fringe payers to come in and prove a point, but Uckkk, was woeful! Chelsea HOME next round please!! Go out in style I say!

Definite improvement on Charlton, but as well all know, it's easy enough to raise your game against a Premiership side then be brought back down to Earth with a bump in the league.
