Ashley Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I wouldnt want Walshy to take the job. Reputations take years to make, moments to shatter.
He's not bald Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I wouldnt want Walshy to take the job.Reputations take years to make, moments to shatter. phew!..there is life here
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 My heart says yes, my head says "hang on a minute" He talks sense on the radio (means bugger all) He is Mr Leicester City Milan has in the past done some highly eratic appointments But I do think if he had a good setup behind him he could do a good job. Bring in Brian Little et al........ WALSHY GETS MY VOTE, its time for a gamble and to be frank no one else takes my fancy. The fact that he's declared his interest speaks volumes for me. He's read to sacrifice, to put his legendary status as a player on the line in order to attempt to get us out of this mess. Courageous and admirable for me... top guy. (I know some of you will say silly and daft!) We'll know soon enough

Flynny Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 listen to yourself man Mr negative .. only a positive movement in the leicester city ranks will get us out of this dip You realise how ridiculous you sound, right? I don't like the idea of Walsh as manager. Suck it up. I feel more positive than I have in a while now Megson's gone, thank you very much.
Raj Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Like I said it's going to be a long night.Best be lighting a fire, there's a distinct level of dimness about the place. I'm telling you guys, if he gets the job he won't last as long as his ban for twatting David Geddis. Whatever...im here all night!!!!
Martin Hendo for god. Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I'm glad you posted that, saved me a whole lot of time, exactly 100% what I believe I agree. We need someone who wants the job and will stay. Walsh was an absolute god and is City through and through, but if you want to pull names out of a hat and go for the most loyal City man then it has to be the Birch!!! We could make the opposition p*** with laughter, get value for money for our tickets and would be hard pushed to be worse than we are now. But getting back to planet earth, Grayson is the man with Little as director of football.

Raj Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 If Birch's comedy talent was a football team it'd be Leicester City. Yeah but we are shite! Oh......
Matt Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 You realise how ridiculous you sound, right? I don't like the idea of Walsh as manager. Suck it up. I feel more positive than I have in a while now Megson's gone, thank you very much. Yep, I feel much more relaxed and positive now Megson's gone.
Flynny Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Yep, I feel much more relaxed and positive now Megson's gone. Assuming that wasn't sarcasm that I've totally missed (I doubt it), yep. I was prepared to get behind him, but the results weren't coming and I was just starting to think "maybe he will be shit like everyone knew he would be in the first place".

No sarcasm at all. As was you I was trying to get behind him, support him, e.t.c, and I did get slightly drawn into the "We've got the best defence in the league" but on Tuesday I was the most angry I have been since the Peter Taylor days, Obviously over the past few years i've got annoyed about the shite football and all the losses we've had to put up with but was very pissed off tuesday. I just hope Mandaric realise's this is a good thing though, The last couple of days seeing Milan speak to the media he's acting like this is a bad thing, Yes it is looking at 5 managers in 6 months statistic it is but Megson needed to go. People we're saying "Give Megson a chance, I remember booing MON at the start of his era and I felt such a twat when he proved us wrong" I'm sorry but as much as I tried to support Megson I never wanted him here (Nothing at all to do with Forest links, It's all down to him being a shite manager, and I simply don't like the man, obviously if he was doing a good job i'd find a way of putting that behind me) and it's easy to say it now but I was fairly certain he'd do shite...and he has. Granted he hasn't had much time to prove himself but i'd rather him go sooner than later, and sooner it was.
Joe. Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Well I've kind of got mixed feelings on this one. On one hand you know you'd get 110% passion from him and you know for certain that he will do his utmost to get this team successful. Then on the other hand, he has no experience whatsoever and no coaching badges. Personally I can't see Milan going for him.

Also no coaching badges or experience and they are a Premiership club hes done ok. Walsh has just as much chance of getting this job as anyone. I think hes done well just from putting his name forward. Must have taken guts to do that as Milan could and may have dismissed him immediately.
Tevez Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Walsh, as much as your a fans favourate, don't ruin your reputation that took you years to build.
Raj Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Walsh isnt even on MM's radar. Walsh has no connection curently with the club(only indirectly with his radio work),he has no badges and no managing history. A legend he is,and he should remain that as an ex-player.

A legend he is,and he should remain that as an ex-player. I repeat Southgate exactly the same. If Walsh does become manager he will not ruin his reputation with me. I would remember him as a fantastic player and captain, with his heart and soul in this club and who tried his hardest to help us by becoming manager in this dire situation we are in. If anything it will make him even more of a legend in my eyes.
Simi Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I repeat Southgate exactly the same. Where can I get one of these random generators you use for your posts?

Megon has shown his true colours and I don't think too many too many Bolton fans are happy. Reminiscent of Mark McGhee I think!!! The fans are p*ssed off at the moment and we need someone we can relate to. I have gone for Grayson but someone like Pearce, who at least has a pair of balls, would also be a good bet. Look on the bright side, in pure footballing terms we must be at the bottom and the only way is up
Tommeh Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Tough one. I'd love him back personally but with someone to guide him, possibly Little? I think having him going it alone would be very risky and I doubt Milan would go for him. Would be great having someones who's heart is well and truely in it. And nobody would do that better than Walshy.

Matt Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I repeat Southgate exactly the same. But would you really say Southgate was a "Boro Legend" as player? And if you would say he was a "Boro Legend" would you really say he was classed as big with the Boro fans as Walshie was for us Leicester fans? Southgate really didn't have the much to lose, as in status with the Boro fans.

Unless he gets his boots back out and becomes player manager
Flynny Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I repeat Southgate exactly the same. He was still at the fucking club! And he has a brain!
