MPH Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Must admit, i was really excited when Kaebi signed for us, was expecting him to be a great signing and play brilliantly and become a crowed favourate... But i just really dont care any more... i cant help but think if he was ever as good as he was suppsoed to be he would of played by now....

Hmm true, you would have thought he would fit perfectly in to this wing back system too as means he can get forward and show off his attacking abilities. Would just like to see him play, he can't be any worse that Stearman of late, surely!!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 *runs back again* A few managers over the years have been pilloried for buying players that they've seen videos of, but not actually in the flesh, and they've turned out to be crap, but a lot of people have said he should be in the side on the strength of a couple of Youtube videos. Three successive managerial regimes have deemed him too crap to feature. What more evidence of his worth do we need?

I think most of us actually went on his 50+ caps for his country and his position in Top 10 hottest prospects actually
Alexikokopops Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 i think we need to swap the kop and family stand
The Stig Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Probably won't, hope he does, everyone deserves a chance.
Dr The Singh Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Probably won't, hope he does, everyone deserves a chance.Probably won't, hope he does, everyone deserves a chance. Including Me!!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Including Me!!! You my none turban wearing seek friend are a absloute rock at the back.
lcfc_til_i_die Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 he wont play, but needs a chance... put him on the bench give him 5mins like the watford game.
Floating Fox Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 i think we need to swap the kop and family stand
Kilworthfox Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 His form in the reserves is poor so why play him? Oh and he cannot defend, I reserve judgement on his right mid position as I only saw him for 10 mins vs Watford and he looked good.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I think most of us actually went on his 50+ caps for his country and his position in Top 10 hottest prospects actually I can't argue with the caps, but Iran are two places behind a team that Keith Gillespie has played a lot of games for. The hottest prospects thing is completely subjective. I agree that it would be nice to see a bit more of him (in a footballing sense, you devils) but even a crap football manager knows more about the game than I do, and there seems a pretty definite trend developing of no one letting him near their team. Apart from the Iranian national manager, of course
Dr The Singh Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 You my none turban wearing seek friend are a absloute rock at the back. Mablo, I really do hope you get the city job!!!
The People's Hero Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 The thing is, this is a football club that the likes of Chris O Grady, Conrad Logan, Jacob Laursen, John Curtis, Chris Makin, Josh Low and Elvis bleedin' Hammond have turned out for the in the past. All I want is for Ka'ebi to have a go. Can he be any worse than that bunch of wasters.
Ultra Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Kaebi is shite end of. As even TPD has observed, that in itself wouldn't be a barrier to him playing for us. It's probably more to do with the fact his face just doesn't fit here..

Thracian Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 As even TPD has observed, that in itself wouldn't be a barrier to him playing for us.It's probably more to do with the fact his face just doesn't fit here.. Care to elaborate? Because your remark all but echoes a comment made to me at the reserves last night. Okay he's not much helping his cause on the pitch but that might not be the full story. He's mighty glad Megson's gone, that's for sure, and that showed in his reinvigorated attitude to last night's game. So much so that he was diving in for anything that moved and his recklessness hurt him at times. It was an improvement, no question, but it didn't add up to the sort of masterful performance you'd expect from a seasoned international playing a reserves game. If anything the guy was trying too hard. He needs to watch a Pontus Kaamark video.
