Not that I don't rate McAuley, I really do, but at the moment I really feel it has to be Bruno N'Gotty plus one and McAuley's distribution is so fricking annoying. Pleased to see Humey being tried on the right, it was tried before with limited success but it'll be good to see how he does this time. Be interesting to see who the subs are too.

The defence is the big worry they been so used to 5 at the back and at least 3 in midfield they could well get complacent although with a bit of luck we might get a bit more possession in their half of the pitch.

Nah 4-4-2 is a piece of piss to play. Two experienced centre halves, two quality central midfielders, good stuff. Weak link is Stearman as always but hey ho, somehow he gets in. When Chambers is fit he will piss all over him.

Thracian Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 That arguably the strongest available team although I'd have gone with Chambers at right back assuming he's fit. But at least what he's gone with is positive enough and I'm glad to see Hayes and King involved again even though both remain a bit short of full match fitness. I'm not quite convinced about having Mattock and Sheehan on the left but if they can develop their effect and understanding it might work okay in the end.
