Thracian Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 To those kind souls who flattered me with their votes in the annual awards. It was good to see some newer names getting votes and mentions alongside stalwarts who have long done much to keep the forum buzzing. Anyway I much appreciate the support offered. I thank the voters sincerely and would also like to thank so many people who took the trouble to take part and particularly DavieG for, once again, giving of his time to organise the voting so efficiently. DavieG is a dedicated City supporter who is a keystone of the FoxesTalk Administrative team and deserves everyone's appreciation for the huge effort he's put in yet again on behalf of everyone. Congratulations to the main and other individual section winners and a word of appreciation too for all those who've made valued contributions to the debates but who might not have been mentioned in the votes. Some, I am sure, would have deserved some recognition but to them I'd say, don't be disheartened, keep posting and your eforts will doubtless come to be more widely noticed.
Thracian Posted 10 December 2007 Author Posted 10 December 2007 I don't imagine I've won anything, nor do I care in the slightest. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate those who gave me a vote or DavieG for making the whole thing possible.
Babylon Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 I've discovered the meaner and more moody I get the more votes I get.... so go feck yourselves you bunch of barstewards.
The People's Hero Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 I've got very few votes this time round, which just proves what I suspected (you're all a bunch of cu nts).
AoWW Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 I've got very few votes this time round, which just proves what I suspected (you're all a bunch of cu nts). Nothing to do with you being a miserable git, then?! Love ya, really!

Manwell Pablo Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 I've got very few votes this time round, which just proves what I suspected (you're all a bunch of cu nts). Well. It looks like I may have two awards, maybe you could buy one off me.
Master Fox Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Well done I first of all would like to thank my parents for bringing me into this world. I would also like to say thank you to all the lovely people out there who voted me in these prestigious awards, it is truly a great honour. I would also like to thank Muhammad, the Easter Bunny, and the tooth fairy. Global warming is something I care deeply about. We should do our bit to help Mother Nature. It’s funny you know, I was never expecting this. Receiving these votes means a lot me. I hold every vote with great affection. All of your support you’ve shown me fills me warmth and gives me that tingling sensation every time I think about your votes. Special thanks to Davie G, a true gentlemen of the forum. The war in Iraq is wrong, and should be stopped! The Sun rises from the east and sets in the west. I would like to point out I didn’t actually receive any votes, but I’ve been planning my soppy acceptance speech all year for internet chat awards! So I awarded myself the all time Foxestalk achievement award.
The People's Hero Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Well. It looks like I may have two awards, maybe you could buy one off me. I'll just wait till you're hal... err completely cut on Friday night and offer you a kebab for it. Seriously though - awards are over-rated. I have 20,000 posts though - I should get some sort of award for that. I should also be an admin. In fact, I'm not sure why I bother.
danny. Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 So I awarded myself the all time Foxestalk achievement award. Sorry, I already awarded myself that last Tuesday. We can go halves on the "Best presented bowl of Coco Pops" award if you want though?

Bellend Sebastian Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Thanks to the 3 or so people that voted for my username. It's nice to know I'm not the only one round here that has such a juvenile and base sense of humour and gets the (admittedly p*ss poor) joke
Dr The Singh Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Class creep! If there was a vote for the most sexiest female on Foxestalk, I would hjave voted for you, twice!!! How's that for a 'creep'!!!!
Master Fox Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 I voted for you!! Oh yeah!! Thanks Singh!!! and to Thracian....

General Smuts Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Im still trying to find some way of discrediting Geo V and AoWW so that i get to win something. I hear AoWW takes advantage of the kids in her class and Geo is a gambling addict - what examples do these set eh! * Sadly i couldn't think of anything and the private investigator i hired came up short. (I would like to point out that i have no real basis for these non accusations and that i dont mean it! I hope Ultra's lawyers don't see this!!!)

I'd demand a refund if I were you. And Geo's just dodgy!
