The People's Hero Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Quite simply, is it worth a purchase? I like a good bit of challenging gameplay. Is it a long game?

Trumpet Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:IT&ih=008 Thats a VERY challenging game. Its like Tony Hawks but better.. You have to flick the analogue sticks and turn them to do the tricks, instead of thrashing the buttons. Challenge yourself this Xmas, go on. You want to.

I should have mentioned I don't like games that are sh it!
Trumpet Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 I should have mentioned I don't like games that are sh it! Exactly the reason i've put it on there, for some fool to bid more than what its worth
The People's Hero Posted 12 December 2007 Author Posted 12 December 2007 Exactly the reason i've put it on there, for some fool to bid more than what its worth Good luck. The blockbuster close to where I work have wii's in stock apparently. Considering buying one and whacking it on ebay. Having said that, before christmas I don't really have the money to spare. They seem to be going for a pretty penny on ebay though.
danny. Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 The game has amazing reviews ans the graphics are stunning. Looks like prince of persia on speed. I really want it but its still like £35 cheapest everywhere, including ebay. Think I'll wait until after christmas.

But you would most definately see a small profit from it. Just start the bidding at what you paid for it, to cover yourself and you should be quids in
WetFlannel Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 What's the name of the song on the advert? Teardrop - Massive Attack... i think
teblin Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Guy at works says its awesome, but takes a little bit of getting used too. But once you have well worth the effort.
danny. Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Teardrop - Massive Attack yup, gorgeous track!
Samilktray Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Ive been on it round a freinds house for a good few hours last week, it really is amazing, just about lives up to the hype. Levels are challengin and really get you into from the off. Graphics are some of the msot impressive ive ever seen on a game. I would imagine itll keep you going for a long time as once youve done all of the missions (and there does see mto be alot) you can then explore the town which is pretty much fully interactive. 9/10 id give it, well worth a purchase. Hope that helps
Ashley Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Quite simply, is it worth a purchase?I like a good bit of challenging gameplay. Is it a long game? I've played it around my mates house I think the games alright after a while the kills become the same and the game is quiet unrealistic. Me and my friend completed it within 3days of playing it.
Phube Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 The advert for it looks great!! Yup, because adverts ALWAYS tell the truth!!! The game has amazing reviews ans the graphics are stunning. Looks like prince of persia on speed. GamesTM: Major Multiplatform magazine gave it: 4
Joe. Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Think I'm getting it for Christmas, heard pretty mixed reviews about it. I'm not a serious gamer, so hopefully it should be enjoyable enough to play. Graphics look immense, hope the game's as good.
danny. Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 GamesTM: Major Multiplatform magazine gave it: 4 out of? If out of 5 thats good, out of 10, they obviously dont like it http://gamepro.com/microsoft/xbox360/games...ws/146351.shtml Gamepor gave it 5/5, user rating on there 4.7/5 http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/834/834676p4.html IGN 7.7/10 http://uk.gamespot.com/ps3/action/assassin...tml?sid=6182795 Gamespot 9/10 it's hardly getting bad reviews in general. I haven't played it myself though so can't comment.
Trumpet Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Based on the other reviews, thats gotta be out of 5 surely. Apparently, its quite a short game.. Depends what kind of game your into.
Phube Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 out of? If out of 5 thats good, out of 10, they obviously dont like itit's hardly getting bad reviews in general. I haven't played it myself though so can't comment. Out of 10. Said it is technically brilliant, but mind-numbingly boring!
potter3 Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Yup, because adverts ALWAYS tell the truth!!! Yeah I know, I bet Wii's even look half decent on the advert.
Super Arj Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 **** incredible game i hav it worth buying.. but theres nothing to do once completing it
syston_fox Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 I got it when it came out and as people have said - looks amazing and can be fun.... but only for the first few levels / assassinations though. After that its a case of doing the same thing over and over again. You start at a castle at the top of a hill... travel down and spend 10 minutes on a horse travelling to the next city. - speak to man in the assassins hideout in that city and get background - find info on the target by doing three things 1) pick someones pocket, 2) listen in on a convo, 3) interagate someone (which involves following them and punching them three times until they talk) - go back to hideout and get permission to kill the target - kill target - run away to hideout - start again at big castle, travel down, spend 10 mins on a horse travelling to next city - etc etc etc Fun at first. Dull as anything later on!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Fun at first. Dull as anything later on! That's exactly what I thought. Whilst the graphics are amazing and at the first the game feels original, it soon dwindles and becomes tedious. Spend the cash on Mass Effect instead. P.S - Some of the cutscene lengths also take the piss.
