Kilworthfox Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 It's official! I am looking forward to this now With the width and balance the style and speed of our play we will destroy the tin pot potless club from the West Midlands
Nath Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 My squad for the cov game Alnwick Stearman McAuley Kisnorbo Mattock Bori Clemence Wesolowski Laczko Howard Hume Blimey, a midfield.
Thracian Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Blimey, a midfield. Perhaps we should see it first.
mmarkie Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Alnwick Stearman N'gotty Kisnorbo Sheehan Bori Osbourne?/Weso Clemence© laczko Hayles Howard
lildave3 Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Alnwick Stearman McAuley/N'Gotty - can't decide. Kisnorbo Sheehan Bori Weso Clemence Laczko Howard Hume
Mr Happy Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Henderson Stearman, MacAuley, Kissa, Mattock J.Chambers, Clem, Kenton, Hayes Fryatt, Cort Subs; Sheehan, Hume, John, Maybury, Douglas OH NO!! Of course we won't be playing with a shite squad like this has we actually have some decent players now! Finally we might start seeing players in their actual positions Alnwick, Laczko(?), Bori and Osbourne will surely all play some part in this game as too will Hayles and Howard I would have thought

WetFlannel Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Feeling optimistic now we have the new signings.. First time this season we have had a midfield. However, I'm reserving my judgement on them at 5:00pm next Saturday
Free Falling Foxes Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Really looking forward to Saturday - I have the same feeling that I had at the start of the season. Hopefully, this will be a great improvement but I'm not expecting any immediate & massive change in our fortunes. There's a couple of players who are new to the country let alone this league so they need time & there's always the 'time to gel' scenario especially if several new signings come into the squad/team quickly. I predicted 10th at the start of the season. If we do achieve that at least we have some wins to look forward to between now and then especially if things start to 'kick-in' during, say, February. FFF

leeleic Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 I'm ashamed to admit this but i haven't been to a city fixture yet this season! I would really, really, really love to go sat but will involve the folowing; 1) missing a crucial local derby for my saturday side 2) Spending 20 odd quid on the ticket, 30ish quid on fuel and sitting on my lonesome! What ya reckon people? should i stay or should i go? P.S. I'm very poor!

I saw Geoff Horsfield stick 2 past these lot last season for Gawd's sake (I'm aware they're stronger now). However, I think you're better off saving your money.
maddog Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 I haven't been this excited about a home game this season since the Blackpool game. These new signings seem very exciting and i cant wait to see them. And the fact it is Covscum just adds extra importance on the tie. I probably shouldn't be looking forward to it this much as i may end up getting let down and it could be the same old shit. We could end up losing 4-0, playing shit again, Ollie playing even more players out of position, boos ringing out the ground, even some cries of Ollie out. But o well Come on Leicester!!!

Not to forget Andy Johnson scoring as well. Fuc king hell, they were shit. I would be surprised if Holloway threw both the Hungarians in from the start - saying that, both have already played with the players in training during their trial, so they've probably got a good grasp of what the other players can do and what Holloway wants from them.

Good luck, you'll need it Big talk. Maybe we will, there's a lot of excitement around here atm, with our new signings, we can afford to get people in you see. We know you're on a high after a good win at Blackburn, but like ourselves, you haven't really set the Championship alight this season.
