Go onto BBC Sport Home page and it flashes up on the video link along the bottom.....

Surely not true!

Fantastic signing if it is. The jan transfer window could really turn our season, and potentially next years season around if Holloway carries on with signings like this one.

Yeh it is on flashing scroll, says sumthing about Blackburn and Mark Hughes then says about us!! Calm down people, lets focus...now do BBC have contacts or are they windup merchants????

He's played almost every game this season.. :dunno:

Well......think about, they've just signed Mile Sterjovski, they've just bought Robbie Savage, they still have Giles Barnes.

It's belivable.

Makes sense given Ollie's recent comments that he's looking to add experience to certain areas of the team following his comments about the age of our midfielders.

Get him in!!

Derby OS

FOXES' OAKLEY BID ACCEPTED

Posted on: Fri 11 Jan 2008

Derby County can confirm that a bid for team skipper Matt Oakley from Leicester City has been accepted - and the player has been given permission to talk to the Foxes.

Leicester boss Ian Holloway is keen to add the 30-year-old to his squad and has already raided Derby once this month for striker Steve Howard.

And Oakley has been allowed to talk with Holloway over a possible move to the Walkers Stadium for a fee of £500,000 plus add-ons.

Oakley joined Derby on a free transfer from Southampton at the start of 2006/07 and was immediately installed as team captain.

He was a key man as the Rams won promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs - where he was named man of the match in the Wembley final.

Oakley made 62 appearances in a Derby shirt and scored nine goals, including the first of this season against Portsmouth on the opening day.
