Bryn Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Wish I'd gone. Great win, first of many this year let's hope.
MC Prussian Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Probably Hayles' best contribution to the team in ages... I see him coming on more often as a substitute, that's his role. FT 2-0 I'm happy.
onetruefox Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 We are going up...sorry...we are staying up.
DanTheFox07 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Seem`s like we can geuinely start to look forward to the second half of the season and Another home win, Quality stuff!!!!
City_4_Life Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Sounded like a good solid win, with us playing some good stuff at times. Well done lads.

Tommy G Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Fantastic stuff. The Hungarians shined by the sounds of things! With the fella from villa coming in the week things can only get better (hopefully )
Brainy Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Our 4th consecutive 2-0 win! Still haven't won by a one-goal margin all season in the league

Brainy Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Before people start jumping on you I take it you mean our 4th consecutive 2-0 out of games we have won? I thought it might confuse people but I only thought that after I posted it.
jonw88 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Fantastic stuff. The Hungarians shined by the sounds of things! With the fella from villa coming in the week things can only get better (hopefully ) Don't need him anymore now we have Oakley!
Smudge Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 What a difference a midfield can make............who'd a thunk it?
purpleronnie Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 What still irks me is that people on here and elsewhere still criticize Holloway depite him having to manage a team full of wallies bought by previous managers. Now he has made a few signings (2 of which scored today) they might realize he is a good manager (look at his record with low profile cash straaped clubs). Oh...........good result btw.
Guest shearfox Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 the goal attempts and crosses stats are a sight for sore eyes. Yep we sure battered Coventry today and could have easily won by more, the new signings looked good and our midfield was actually supplying the front men.
DanTheFox07 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Just read the match report off the official webiste, sounds like we absloutley battered cov!!! the hungarians seem to have added something we have lacked in the team and also great thing for us is there are here to win pernament deals at the club so there not gonna play and take things for granted which a lot of players have done for us in the past hopefully those days are gone. Seem`s as if we have a potentially gr8 partnership in the centre between oakley and clemence, considering all this and the fact oakley slotted in without even training with the team, surely only going to getter better!!!
