Dames Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Maybe a decent midtable finish is realistic after all.
sotonfox Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Well that's my Sunday sorted!! Rehearsing my new "walking into the office on Monday with head held high" routine
ousefox Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Don't need him anymore now we have Oakley! is osbourne cm?!?!?!?
Tommy G Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Play offs i tell thee Knew someone would say that, unfortunately you were the first Holloway sounded a bit downbeat on the radio, not his usual bright self! No cliches. Clearly a relief that we got the result needed is osbourne cm?!?!?!? Probably!?!?!?!?!?!
STUHILL Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Holloway just said about bringing more players in too!! This is turning out to be a very good weekend!!!!
City_4_Life Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Holloway has finally got his round pegs and round holes.
Head Honcho Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Play offs i tell thee That'd take about another 15 performances like today and then we'd be pushing it. Take it from me this team is still nothing like a team able to do that home and away for 4 months. ...............but feel free to haunt me with this post if I'm wrong
Molson Canadian Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 good win! sounds like we actually have a midfield now, great to hear about us actually making crosses into the the penalty area from the wings!
El_Thief Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 was a really good win and sounded like we played some good stuff, lets hope its the start of something good, onwards and upwards hopefully, anyone listern to the match on the radio and walshie say he thinks we'll win 7 out are 10 home games? anyone else think that we can?
STUHILL Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 That'd take about another 15 performances like today and then we'd be pushing it.Take it from me this team is still nothing like a team able to do that home and away for 4 months. ...............but feel free to haunt me with this post if I'm wrong I'm with u there, we need a whole squad of quality. But this is a good start!! Some real players to start building a team round. Future is looking much brighter though.

Suffolk_fox Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Playoffs. Mmmm. Wonder what everyone will be saying if we lose the next game......
Smudge Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 That defence is still wobbly, although if they are not defending for so much of the game, it should give them time to recover and grow in confidence.
lookwhaticando Posted 12 January 2008 Author Posted 12 January 2008 <--- visions of next home defeat ---> RELEGATION R E L E G A T I O N The writing's one the wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <!---- /visions of next home defeat ---->
Jay1982 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 just got back from the game and i thought that we played quite well today, i really cannot recall coventry threatening us during the whole game. Hume played brilliant today and the new guy, latsko?!!! i thought he played well also, generally the whole team played well. One thing that still annoys me, and i dont want to put a dampner on it, is that stearman still plays hoof ball, fair play to the lad, he did get forward to create space for Bori, but it just pisses me off when h just hoofs it. Oakley played well and that gave clemence the chance to string a few passes together. Just hope this is a sign of things to come because we played some really good football at times, and the lads in the Kop and L1 did us proud.
Bluefoxtim Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Great day, managed to win about £20 as well!
Suffolk_fox Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 I bet we get about 30 seconds on the Championship tomorrow...
Phube Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 You're on a one man mission! Hell yeah!! just got back from the game and i thought that we played quite well today, i really cannot recall coventry threatening us during the whole game. Hume played brilliant today and the new guy, latsko?!!! i thought he played well also, generally the whole team played well. LEFT!!!
simtacular Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 just got back, pleased with the performance today. Latchko got in the box to add that extra presence and had 2 decent chances to score. Bori put in a few quality balls in which needed someone to finish them. Oakley was very impressive and Clemence benefited from him and also had a good game. Alnwick didn't have much to do, could do with better precision with his kicking and had 1 mix-up with the defence but thats understandable. Defence did well and so howard and hume, howard's physical presence makes a lot of difference.
Leicester Lass Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Wow. Finally we have a team that has some balance and shape to it Today is meaningless if we don't come away with a win at Norwich though. Leicester are back?
