Does anyone know any decent places around Leicester that do car tints?

Reasonably priced which dont peel off after 6 months.

thanks!

Are you:

a) wanting to smoke weed in your car with your mates without the paranoia that the people in the car next to you know exactly what you're doing

b) wanting to look cool

c) both of the above

Ultimate Volocity are terrible. Never go there. Tints are a waste of time anyway. If the police dont like them they will make you remove them at the road side.

Thanks for that guys!

Err where abouts are those places?

Its for a car that I've bought for my little brother so no weed smoking for me :D !

Im only looking for a light tint which shouldnt be a problem with the law as there is a certain cut off point for where it becomes illegal.Anyway the car I've bought is a e36 bmw coupe which if anyone remembers looks out of date unless you make certain modifications to it i.e side indicators/fogs/tints can smarten the car up.

Just remember all those modifications will have to be declared to the insurance company. Hope you've got money to burn. :dunno::giggle:

Do tints need to be declared?

Do I need to declare that my rear view mirror and driver's side sun visor have fallen off?

:D:o

It isn't unless you go OTT. You can have the rear windows tinted more than the front though.

Tints - generally, yes. Doubt they'll care about your rearview mirror - they'll just take one look and declare it 'unroadworthy'.

Me not having a rear view mirror will mean my car fails MOT though.

Right, so who wants a lift to the FT match then?

:P

Pfft, you've got side mirrors, haven't you? Sorted.

Yeah, I have side mirrors!

Also, I can look over my shoulder, it's only a little car FFS!

It's actually a lot better driving at night without thousands of lights glaring in your RVM.
