Jimmy Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 He has already said it is! Just before Christmas he told 7 or so players to find other clubs as having them all around the training complex etc was bad for the morale of the team. when he said that Kish and de Vries were already out on loan so he wouldn't know what their attitude was like
Jimmy Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Cant say anything about the goalie considering i seen him play once but is good to see De Vries and Kish back hopefully they can now find permanent moves or find the form to force their way back into the team, in Kishishev's case pre-season form that had most on here excited at the prospect of a Clem-Kish mid with Weso spotting for them and trying to oust 1
maddog Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 MDV isn't just old, he's shit. How anyone can even give him a chance in the first team is beyond me. He must be 7th in the pecking order now at city, striker wise MDV was good at the start of the season when he was playing. Kish was good enough, and we do need some back up midfielders so he should stay. In my view the striker order goes: Howard Hume, Campbell Hayles De Vries, Fryatt Hammond

Brenfox Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Both Kish & Devries will be gone by the end of the month imo
MPH Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 thats what confuses me, if you release these players then you would have to pay off their contracts with the compensation dosh but mutual termination ( I THINK) should mean that the club and player agree terms to terminate the contract, whether any money involved in the termination is down to the agreement made by the player and club, and i believe then compensation is not required but can sometimes be included. which brings us back to the Martin Allen situation, it was anounced that he had left by mutual consent but he was in fact sacked by milan which begs the question was he payed the compo or not!!!??? really confuses me sometimes with this sort of thing as do the undisclosed fee's.anybody want to share what they know about mutual consent etc?! Yes. its those words that have eaten up alot of our transfer budget.
Flynny Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Don't see any point in shipping him out so long as his attitude, which would seem to be a pretty good one, is right. He's not terrible backup, either.
Wezleylowski Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 If I ws manager the striker order would go:Howard, Hume Hayles Fryatt De Vries Campbell Hammond
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 I still remember sitting with Mablo and laughing hysterically as Blondie came rushing out flapping at balls during the Notts County game.I wanted to convince myself it was nerves at playing in such a great but empty stadium. Oh well... WELL PLAYED JIMMY!!!!
Koke Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 I wouldn't mind keeping Kish. At least till the summer. We certainly can't rely on Mr Cotton Wool as a back-up to Clemence and Oakley.

irememberwellerstights Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Isn't MDV's contract up this summer? He'll be gone anyway, if not sooner. My guess is that the club will cash in on him. Perhaps even get a 4 figure sum for him... (£26.50)

Samilktray Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/7185054.stm Looks like De Vries could be off
Geo V Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/7185054.stmLooks like De Vries could be off Please let it happen god. He has some skills but flatters to deceive and we have a few of them types of players already who are younger than him and may one day come good, like Fryatt.

Geo V Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Hope springs eternal, he? Remember Im the founder of the optimistic bus
Thracian Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Remember Im the founder of the optimistic bus I can see why now.
Geo V Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 I can see why now. Life is fun and not a chore and football is a pleasure and not a pain, although our beloved club has caused us more heartache than is sometimes required . The bottom line is I dont give a monkeys about the bigger picture because I am used to watching the shite from the late 80s and early 90s and I think we sometimes get spoiled. We may not do much this season but even a draw at Naaaaaaaaaarwich or a home win against Coventry still gives me enourmous pleasure even though if we got dicked in the FA Cup the previous week and are hovering above the relegation zone. The cup is half full so go and join the bus
Guest Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/7185054.stmLooks like De Vries could be off You've clearly picked the wrong smiley there It should have been any one of the following I reckon
Ultra Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 No, they're being saved for use case in case we get a bid for Fryatt which is above what we paid for him.
