Are we Manchester Utd ? The sooner you people get a grip on reality and realise that we could be going down. Same shit every season but people always stick up for them untill about April when they finally realise ... That yea maybe we are going down.

Clemence = Over rated but when we win a game the best thing since slice bread

DJ = Rubbish and don't get in the game enough but he scored a few goals for B-ham last year. So he must be a legend

Stearman = Lose and its his fault and win and he was motm maybe player of the year

I could go on.

I think the majority recognise relegation as a serious threat to us, so your constant moaning about people "thinking were Manchester United" is probably going to wind up a lot of people. The reason people "stick up" for there football teams player is due to the fact they "support" them.

:thumbup::rolleyes:

Anyone saying Laczko is 'bob', is a fool. We play disgusting hoofball and lose in the last minute and you blame a winger who has played 3 games for us? Idiotic. The fact of the matter is, any winger we buy is going to look 'bob' until we utilise them properly. A winger shouldn't have to cut inside looking for the ball, doing that defeats the point of having wingers. When we start to use the wings, we can all judge Laczko for the player he is.

I didn't blame him for us losing today you idiot  We play shit football you say, who's to blame ... OMG not Sir Ollie !!! You can't slag him off here ! He is the greatest manager in our history. Laczko so far excpet one game hasn't done nothing on the wing and he has been given the nod to do so but if we're not playing our wingers probally who's to blame ? Ring him up on monday and tell him him this.

I have learnt over the years not to get excited by 1 game. Junior Lewis debut .. blooming hell !!! Looked world class.

Ok it's rare for me but I've not read all the posts in this thread all I would say is everyone excelled themselves in the cov game and everyone has been average to crap since based on games I've seen and read about.

I'm hoping we get a loan player who can play left wing, thats not because I don't think hes good, i just think we need to take the pressure off him because hes the only left winger we've got, the only other option is too play Mattock there with Clapham at left back, especially for away games. But then no doubt Ollie will be accused of being negative.

Laczko needs time to settle, I know people will just see that as an excuse for poor performances but its true. I'm going to judge him next season, thats if hes still here, I just hope that we don't get on his back at games because thats not going to help.

Absolutely not.

Why?

Because it was his debut.

Only a fool would make their mind up on a player after a debut performance. Whilst it's great that he played well against Cov, you have to keep it up, he hasn't he's struggled. So the next 5-6 games is when we judge him to see if he can adapt.

PS Stop posting shit everyone.

Did you see Junior Lewis debut ? Ryan Smiths ? True what you say. You don't judge a player on 1 game.

But it obviously shows he has ability...

Now we have to see if he can push on from here, but I dont agree with people doubting him already when no-one has been up to standard recently.

Yeah I was at the Derby match and was one of them foolish enough to be raving about Ryan Smith on here for the 2 week break that followed due to his suspension!

To be fair he was out of this world that day. :D

I did get excited about Smith aswell but that was Wengers fault ;) He was raving on about him and i trust Wenger more then Ollie. Still that Derby game, he was bloomin top class. Just a shame he had no end product.

As much as people are saying you can't judge a player by a debut, by what rulebook does it state that you can therefore judge him after only 3 more games. (where there were doubts over fitness in 1 of these as well)

The problem is, young foreigners like Zsolt need time to adjust properly but, considering our utterly dismal last 2/3 years, we are getting more and more desperate for quick fixes...it's not gonna happen like that and it causes knee-jerk reactions like this thread.

I think it was the same rulebook that allows people to judge the player despit having only seen one of his games.

I dispair at some of these idiots, I really do. It's a Daytime-TV pop-culture mentality where anyone with a telephone believes they have a credible point of view and a right to share their ignorance with the world.

Right, he's had four games. Four games let's not forget without match fitness.

Today Lackzo was poor I'll admit it. But him and Mattock on the left side were poor, and they hardly helped each other out to be honest.

We've all seen what he can do, to me it seems he's much better at home but we need to give him more time to judge him properly. Like I say he's had four games in England and already some of us are on his back. Give him more of a chance and we might see him improve. Too much has been overhyped of him since his debut and this is the main reason he's being labelled as "shit".

Halmosi wasn't spectacular in his first half season with Plymouth. Now everyones saying he's arguably the best left winger in the Championship.

I fooking hate idiots that get on players backs like this and attract a whole load of other sheep that spout out the same bollocks.

The guy aint gunna stand out the way we've been playing lately. We don't utilise our wingers we just hoof it upto Howard (Which i'm beginning to think this is why he was signed so Kisnorbo and McAuley had something big to aim at). How can a winger stand out when the ball is always lumped up to the big oaf? Please tell me that?

Half the people who have slated Lackzo in this topic really have no common sense or understanding of the game.

I feel sorry for him. No doubt he has good technical ability. Doesnt seem to get enough of the ball though in the final third. Our defenders and midfielders seem to lump in long to Howard at the earliest opportunity, rather than looking to the wings, as a result he loses discipline and goes searching for the ball affecting our balance. Also no doubt he hasnt played football like this, 100 mph, physical up and at them. He is adjusting and im confident we will see the best of him once he adapts to the Championship and also when our players adapt to him.

is it me or is laczko rubbish.

great game against cov.

sh*t in every other game- sh*t enough to get subbed at half time.

this thread is just b******s oh he's not had a good game for the past three games lets start to slag him off.

obviuosly he is good enough yeah he had a fantastic game against cov but so did everyone else and they've not been performing any better since SO GET OFF HIS BACK AND LET HIM GET USED TO THE LEAGUE. no one can have a game like that and be shit!!!!!!!!! :@

HAMOLSI was rubbish for plymouth until his first full season.

he needs to be protected by ollie for a bit like bori is a bit just lately and look how he swung the game against palace when he came on.

he's only 22.

Thats the spirit - lets think of the positives of his performance today.....

.......erm........ he did an excellent warm up! Faultless!!!

And he put his boots on the right feet - always a good start!!

On a serious note though I think it is too early to judge him fully and in some respects that brilliant debut was about the worst thing he could do because it raised all our expectations. It's just incredible how much that performance contrasted with the ones we've seen in the last three games. In the coventry match he was everywhere, crossing, tackling, shooting, making runs.... it was a joy to see, but if he could play like that every game then lets face it, he wouldnt be playing for us would he?

So far on the evidence Ive seen, when Leicester play well, he plays well. When Leicester play bad, he plays bad. Maybe if we put a decent run of games together, he will start showing what hes made of. He wasnt exactly bad at Palace, just uneventful. Whenever he had the ball, it was a simple short pass. As a winger we want to see crosses and runs, which Im sure he will do when he finds his feet.

He's may be the right player at the wrong time. There's no question he needs time to adapt to English football but if we're going to win a relegation battle it hardly seems sensible to me to have someone who's needs acclimatisation time taking such a responsible first team role.

It's really quite ridiculous but there are big differences between what he did against Coventry and what he did today.

He wasn't a winger today. Wingers provide width which stretches the opposition defence across the pitch creating space between defenders for people like Campbell to exploit.

They also take defenders in an effort to get behind the back line and deliver a telling variety of crosses into the box.

Laczko failed today because he didn't provide width, didn't run at defenders, didn't get behind the defence and didn't deliver crosses. Nor can I remember him having any shots.

As an attacker therefore he was effectively impotent.

Instead he had obviously been told to improve defensively and was concentrating on helping Mattock. Trying to use wingers as defenders is something we're always doing at Leicester instead of getting them to understand that the defensive aspect has to be undertaken AS WELL AS the attacking, not instead of.

Laczko's other big downside was moving into the middle too much without delegating someone else to provide the width. Normally, of course, the full-back would do it but Mattock was also preoccupied with defending so the result was we crowded our own space and made ourselves easy to mark and contain.

The fault lies with the player for not really knowing his job and the manager for either not telling/showing him his job or for picking someone who's as yet unable to do his job. Whichever, the job wasn't done properly and with Mattock struggling too today, the whole left flank was a bit of a disaster until Hume and Chambers effected partial repair in the second half.
