Bellend Sebastian Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Perversely, I think relegation would make it more rather than less likely for me to get another season ticket, because I'd buy it in the naive hope that we'd be more competitive in a lower division, and there might be a bit more excitement at games instead of them being the relentless, mind numbing chore that they've been for the most part of late. I also went to a lower league game (Chesterfield vs Grimsby in League 2) not long ago and frankly the level of entertainment wasn't inferior to what we've all been watching (my mate who's a Grimsby fan incidentally came to the Palace game, after which he felt much happier about watching lower league football). I'm not wishing for relegation, far from it - I'd like City to be doing well at as high a level as possible, but I seem to be hoping for too much at the moment
maddog Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 All our games are odd Then id go to the odd, odd match
Messi Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Yep...still get a season ticket and go too as many away games as possible Got to stay Loyal! DavieG...Love Your Sig
Number1flanker Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 I would still got 2 City Neways ticket prices would be cheaper And we might see some goals And a win

Asha Posted 13 February 2008 Author Posted 13 February 2008 Go to watch city anyway. And your welcome.
beemeroo Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Why does it matter what division we're in? City is City ^^ On a side note surely it couldn't be worse than the dross we're serving up this year and we still get excellent gates. Do you all go to watch the football the other team play or something?

purpleronnie Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Don't go to games now I save up to see MLS games but I don't think attendances would beaffected much, forest still have very good gates as do leeds, I'm sure leicester would reduce prices too. I would imagine 17-20,000.
Lovejoy Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 If I didn't go it would be for the same reasons I wouldn't go if we stayed up.All depends on where I'm working next year. Same as!
Lovejoy Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Id support The Arsenal! Shhh, don't tell Phube
beemeroo Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 It's not about the opposition, it's about how shit we would be and the appeal of games in League One. But we're already playing pretty dreadfully. Presumably we'd just be comparitively better. Not everyone jumps ship if a team goes down.
shiv Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Was just thinking about this.If we did relegated how many people would still turn up. League One has absolutely no appeal to me. Teams like Carlisle and Swindon...Tranmere away on a Friday night. Would have to seriously consider whether I would go as much or not. What about everyone else? i was asked this when we were in the premiership, not the season after we were promoted, before that... i probably would still go...
wirralsimon Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 ..Haven't they stopped Friday night games? I'd certainly make it to the Tranmere away matches! Prenton Park is about 200 yards from our house. They still play Friday night games but not as many as they used to, I think they are limited to about 6 a season. Simon
Daggers Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 It's not about the opposition, it's about how shit we would be and the appeal of games in League One. We'll be more shit in this division and the games will be as appealing as they currently are. I'm far more likely to be getting a season ticket again if we go down, although I may opt for the away games only. I'm piss-bored of watching the ordure we currently endure.
kylestyle06 Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 If we get relegated teams will fear us when we visit them away for once
C-man Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Next season I'll be at university in Sheffield. At the moment I'm still planning on having a season ticket, and going to as many away games as I can afford, whichever division we're in.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Wouldn't be on the telly anymore... probably have to get dodgy feeds from Sky Sports over the net
filbertway Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 The only way I would start going to watch Leicester regularly was if they went into the conference north, that'd be immence. For now I'm stuck with the mighty CV.
ASH17LCFC Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Wouldn't get a season ticket, regret getting one this year. Feels like i'm falling out of love with Leicester atm. Take Saturday, Man Utd vs Arsenal down the pub or Leicester vs Norwich in the freezing cold ...

ASH17LCFC Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 If you seriously even think twice about that, you're in the wrong place. Just got sick and tired of watching the same crap week in and week out. 4 Years of watching us fight to stay in the championship has finally done it for me. Man Utd vs Arsenal will be my choice come Saturday unless i get that loving feeling back but can't see it coming back for along time.

Utd - Gunners doesn't even start till city have finished.
