Tevez Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Not sure if he turned up or not. Shit season, time to get rid in the summer.
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Hume was a joke today. No control, no spirit, no energy - no fight.
Benjani Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Not sure if he turned up or not.Shit season, time to get rid in the summer. He had such a great game against Norwich, you can't blame a single player for us losing. He was probably the only player to have a shot on target, at the end. (correct me if im wrong). Its Campbell that is our weak link, he has been sulking ever since Allen left, get rid now. 1.6 MILLION for him is too much i reckon.
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 He was probably the only player to have a shot on target, at the end. (correct me if im wrong). Hayles.
Simi Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Conman. Woeful today. Was not in the game at all and did not look bothered one bit. Drop him or play him in the hole, somewhere he's interested in. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMEEEEE
Matt Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Yep, I honestly do think he thinks he's irreplaceable and his place in the team is cemented just because he's a fans favourite, Holloway needs to give him a reality check by dropping him. I'll agree with the fact's he out of position i'll give people that, however when he first was put in the position I thought he was great, he played brilliant, I actually thought he was better in this position than he was upfront, but the last month (maybe more) he's been awful, similar to the Stearman scenario that we have seen Stearman's potential but yet he doesn't use it, only when he wants to, well we have seen what Hume can do in this position and it's very good but recently he has been shocking, Mr Hume - Explain?!
Tevez Posted 23 February 2008 Author Posted 23 February 2008 Leave him, he's the fans favourite therefore he should play.

How can you possibly make excuses for Hume from 1 good performance? He was awful in 4 or 5 games before the Norwich game too. Bori right wing. He's done nothing wrong.
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 My scrotum is better than Huuuume. It keeps balls under close control and sees more (goal) mouth action. Wahey!
Molson Canadian Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 he's playing out of position. We do not have a natural right winger on this team ollie didn't bring anyone in during the transfer window to correct this and he has not brought in a loan signing so far. If we drop Hume from the wing who will play on the right wing instead?
BigGibbo Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 If we just played ashley chambers or Bori on the right wing we wouldn't be having this problem Hume & Howard or DJ & Howard up front is good enough
lildave3 Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 He really was shite today. Really. But no more so than Oakley.
Asha Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 We should play Hume up front, where he's meant to play. No-one wants to play out of position. He was shit today though, everything about the day was shit.

If we drop Hume from the wing who will play on the right wing instead? We should play Hume up front, where he's meant to play. No-one wants to play out of position. He was shit today though, everything about the day was shit. So whats the excuse when he first started playing in this position? As I have already said I thought he played really well when he was first put in this position, perhaps better than when he plays upfront then the last month or so he's been awful. I know we have all been through this before that a normal person's job isn't the same as a footballer, and everyone use the "If I did a poor job i'd be sacked, they get away with it" well thats true but there more to it than that isn't there?! However last week I was given a shit job at work...I'm a joiner, I am not employed to stick stuff on panels and wrap them, I had nearly 200 of them, It took me a while and I didn't enjoy it, after 100 odd I didn't suddenly start doing them shite but I had a work with the boss and said look i'm not employed to do this, I then got someone to help me/put onto another job, not the same i'll give you that but it's the view some of our players should have, just because their footballers they think their all high and mighty, they need a BIG reality check, Not just Hume, most of them.
Flynny Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 I don't know if he plays where he likes because he's an arrogant twat or because he's been told to, but he was ridiculously out of position way way too much and can't pass a ball. Couple of good shots though. If he'd scored we wouldn't be having this conversation at all.

Father Ted Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Not sure if he turned up or not.Shit season, time to get rid in the summer. Yes, but everytime he has drifted off his wing into a more central role he has created like the pass for Howard and his goal against Norwich. When will Holloway realise that he is NOT a right winger.

Darkzzz_ Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 He really was shite today.Really. But no more so than Oakley. No more so than all of them.... Gerry Taggart displayed more energy walking around that reek-cho than the whole team!!
Milans Foxes Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Hume is a mediocre player, simple as that. When he wasn't totally out of position today he was pissing about with the ball before losing it. I hate it when he has a laugh and joke with an opposition player as well. Especially at 2-0 down and in a local derby. He puts in effort but no real end product or any sort of quality.

After all they are on opposing teams in a game!!

Simi Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 How on earth is he a conman? lol Everything else i agree with. Because he's been getting away with shit performances for ages by just "putting 100% in".
