skinnydipper Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Sky News text reports 11 arrests in Earlsdon Coventry in apparently football related violence (although it's 6 miles from the Ricoh). Suggestion is pre planned brawl.
lildave3 Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 And at least another one arrested during/after the game, plus one chucked out as far as I know.

Joe. Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Two weeks in a row now Disgraceful stuff really.

Suggestion is pre planned brawl. Earlsdon! I'm moving there in the summer! Yet again bad news though. I'm inclined to say, if it was pre planned, leave them to it so long as its only their own retarded skulls they are assaulting. Thats never the case though. Its always somebody else's city, area, people, that are affected. Bastards, the lot of them.
BigGibbo Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Its one thing to have a scrap but this extract pisses me off "Knives were seized by the police" fooking losers only wet through fags carry knives!
leicesterseddon Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 heard on the radio that it kicked off outside as well...but i didn't see anything when i came out
syston_fox Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 There was a bit of trouble outside the ground that I saw between Leicester fans and the police but from what I saw the fans in question did nothing wrong and it was just the police being heavy handed. Pushing people around if they simply looked at them
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Witnesses described "hordes" of men spreading out across the street and throwing bricks at each other. ****ing Chav wankers. When I played that game on an 18-30's holiday we used eggs.
Jimmy Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Police took a number of knives off of the thugs as well
Simon Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 That's two weeks running. I don't like the sound of where this is headed, we don't want to get a reputation as a club for this...
Darkzzz_ Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Healthy banter is good, I hate Coventry, but i would never dream of sticking a knife in one of them (maybe a brick round the head though ).... Think of the kids that go to these games, what standard are we setting for these young ones....? I just hate people that go these games for the fighting, do they know the history of the club they are following?? Do they care?? Disgrace!!
DB11 Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 If they arranged a fight you can't really have sympathy for any injuries sustained by them Unless it was some innocent bystanders
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 If they arranged a fight you can't really have sympathy for any injuries sustained by them Unless it was some innocent bystanders Innocent bystanders rarely arrange fights
Jimmy Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 the police think it was all organized, re really need to stop this before it becomes a major problem
DB11 Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Innocent bystanders rarely arrange fights I only included the last sentence so people who read the Bridgend thread didn't think I had no sympathy or w.e
BigGibbo Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 the police think it was all organized, re really need to stop this before it becomes a major problem Haha What do you propose we do about it?
Guest Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Great. A definate lock in after the Cardiff game then.
Floating Fox Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 ****ing Chav wankers. When I played that game on an 18-30's holiday we used eggs. To be fair, it said most were in their 50's. Last week it was more a group of Norwich chavs that started it all off, I wouldn't bet on this being a proper organsied scrap like they used to do it. Personally I don't see why they can't just do it in the middle of no-where like the Polish... Still, bunch of twats. I can't understand the police though - "This justifies an increased presence on matchdays at the stadium" - Ermm this occured 6 miles from the stadium! Idiots. They were the only ones causing problems at the stadium today.
Bezzanator89 Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Did I expect any less?! It's an M69 derby for God's sake...
Tomassi Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 well done chavs, bet thats made you proud! i f # ing hate chavs

Idiots. They were the only ones causing problems at the stadium today. ...because limp-wristed, pussycat supporters like me need to feel protected when we go to games; Us, families and single mothers? I don't have a problem with a single thing the police do, or the stewards. The problems at football stadia exist because of the little brainless ****s that still frequent our game...the Burberry clad dicks that stood near us today - smoking while trying to fix up a fight. Yes it is unfair that we should feel impinged upon by police action - but without it these ****heads are allowed free reign to intimidate, to ride roughshot over us all. fook them. fook their righteous, arm-waving county-pride - fook their ink'd arms of pseudo pride. The twat attempting to push into my seat was proud of his record of being lobbed out of every away match he'd been to this season. What a ****ing cnut. What a thick twat. I'll be betting the shit was six miles away from the stadium in the second half...cunt that he was.

But if they behaved like that in L1, there'd be plenty of folk on here telling us what loyal and passionate fans they were..
