Nationwider Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 For getting the angst out might I recommend...Fight the power 911's a joke Shut em Down Can't Truss It In fact, almost anything by Public Enemy! You can't go wrong with that, and I'd add Welcome To The Terrordome to that list too.

AoWW Posted 30 October 2008 Author Posted 30 October 2008 I'm angry... again. And tonight's plan is to get very, very drunk on SoCo which is crying out to be drunk; ignore texts/msn messages from the person that's pissed me off; listen to music wayyy too loud and generally irritate the hell out of my neighbours. I want new tunes (or old tunes that are new to me) to listen to. Suggestions....?
Rocket-Ron Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Did all the tunes help you last time? if so start all over again.... "March around the room listening to the strange death of liberal England. that should sort you out."

act smiley Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Adequate Seven's two albums are worth a listen, though if you can't be bothered with all that the live album has all the best bits, albeit with some rather exhausted-sounding vocals in places but enough energy in it all to make it not matter much. Sonic Boom Six also have two very worthwhile albums, though the first is my favourite - upbeat, chilled out and very angry all in one neat package. But still, both are great.
Flynny Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Listen to Cardinal Song by the National if you hit self-pity. I've fallen in love with it. As for loud angry stuff, punk stuff maybe? Or Pixies for sheer mentalness?
Samilktray Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 DMX, if your pissed off or angry he will probably have you ripping heads off.
Jack Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 DMX, if your pissed off or angry he will probably have you ripping heads off. Don't mind a bit of Dmx, me. His stuff gets you pumped.
Jack Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Can't go wrong with a bit of Jose Gonzalez to chill you out.
Jimmy2Drags Posted 31 October 2008 Posted 31 October 2008 The Misfits album 'Plan 9' is great for me. also, anything by Minor Threat....good, old school stomping music!
