Lillehamring Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 They love Jesus in Iraq. They're Muslims and they love Jesus more than most people in history.Jesus, Moses, Job, Noah, Abraham, Solomon, Aaron, Lot, Muhammad, Enoch, Ismael, Jacob, Isaac, John, Elijah, Zachariah etc. Muslims have to love all these prophets and the rest equally. It's part of the religion. The greatest men ever to walk the earth all of em hmmm, well in the words of one of the finest living philosophers, H.J.Simpson, i think it needs to be asked: "if they're so great, how come they're all dead" thank you...
Dr The Singh Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 hmmm, well in the words of one of the finest living philosophers, H.J.Simpson, i think it needs to be asked:"if they're so great, how come they're all dead" thank you... Him and Gary Cole are the greastest philisophers, philanthropist, pornographist the world have ever seen! If everyone else were like them, the world would be heaven on earth!!!
BoneDog Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 hmmm, well in the words of one of the finest living philosophers, H.J.Simpson, i think it needs to be asked:"if they're so great, how come they're all dead" thank you... because they were human beings just like us! Only a few get remembered thousands of years after death. Some are tyrants, some are people of greatness in a good deeds way. EDIT : They are not dead, they live on in another world as we all will. Their bodies just expired. The next life is the most important one cos it goes on and on. This one is very important though so act well with honour my friends

Babylon Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 I think Ultra is on to something.... the evidence is out there. Hmmmmmm... similar don't you think.
BoneDog Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 heh - that's the last time i quote the simpsons in a thread on politics I get it now! Unfortunatley I've only ever watched the Simpsons about 3 times and that was about '92 time when it came out I think? The only cartoon I've liked since I was 'adult' were King of the Hill and South Park, so I didn't have a clue about that quote!
BoneDog Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 I think Ultra is on to something.... the evidence is out there. Hmmmmmm... similar don't you think. That's a good bit of detective work!
Babylon Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 That's a good bit of detective work! Not only that, but the symbol in the middle resembles the teeth of the almighty sarlac in star wars. This leads me to believe Singh is not only a terrorist, but a Sith warrior... hell bent on the elimination of all Jedis.
Dr The Singh Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 dude, shall we petition for a statue of them, shaking hands and sharing a beer, to be erected in town I prefer to keep my erected Gary Cole out of the public eye!!! Val my man, that statue would be magnificient!!!
Dr The Singh Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Not only that, but the symbol in the middle resembles the teeth of the almighty sarlac in star wars. This leads me to believe Singh is not only a terrorist, but a Sith warrior... hell bent on the elimination of all Jedis. It's quite ironic that the religion known as Jedism, actually makes references and comparisons to the the Khalsa (The Sikh Saint-Soldier intiates) And yes, I want to destroy all women Jedis (jedis (pronounced jed-is) in the indian subcontinent means underpants), because I believe they should go 'freestyle' and the fact that they are well overpriced!!
Daggers Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Not only that, but the symbol in the middle resembles the teeth of the almighty sarlac in star wars. This leads me to believe Singh is not only a terrorist, but a Sith warrior... hell bent on the elimination of all Jedis. Star Wars geek!
Babylon Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Star Wars geek! Not me guv... just watched em that much as a kid the whole thing has been burnt into my memory for life.

Dr The Singh Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 An apology would be more civilised.Besides, while I'm quite sure Ultra could be brave enough, I wouldn't see a young warrior like The Singh getting much satisfaction from whacking him. Especially with The Singh being something of a gentleman in any case, at least from my impressions. You still sure Thrac!! I wouldn't worry about it, he'll get his chance to apologise face to face on saturday at the Swan!!!

davieG Posted 16 June 2009 Posted 16 June 2009 Merc The city's new Gandhi statue has been lifted into place and will be officially unveiled at the end of the month. A crane was used to lower the £20,000 statue into its permanent home at the corner of Belgrave Road and Donaldson Road, in Leicester, yesterday. Foundations to support the seven-and-a-half-feet-tall statue and a five-feet-tall concrete plinth, were laid over the past few days. The bronzed figure, paid for by Indian charity Samanvaya Parivar, has been created by celebrated Indian sculptor Gautam Pal and shipped in from Calcutta, in India Mr Pal designed it to show Mahatma Gandhi in one of his famous poses, striding out using a stick for support. TIN.adverts.adWriteDC('article-detail-impact-tile', '452x118'); Until its official unveiling on June 26, the statue will be surrounded by a wooden fence and covered with tarpaulin. Jitendra Acharya, spokesman for the charity, said: "I am ecstatic and delighted that we have got to this point on what has been a long road. "The statue was flown in last week from India and was stored in a warehouse in Leicester until now. We wanted it installed as soon as we possibly could." Yesterday, the Mercury revealed that campaigners were claiming the statue was too close to the road and that crowds who went to see it would be at risk from traffic. Zena Foster, of nearby Woodboy Street, said she believed the statue had been installed "quickly" because of the complaints over its chosen location. She said: "I have to accept that it will be there but I am still convinced it will cause accidents and should have been elsewhere, like a park." But Mr Acharya said: "We have liaised with the planning authority and this matter was considered at the time of our application. There will be no safety problems." Gandhi campaigned for India's independence from Britain, promoting non-violent civil disobedience. More than 70 countries have statues of him and backers say that it is good for the city's reputation that Leicester will now be added to that list. Quarry giant Aggregate Industries designed and made the plinth free and city firm EL Construction installed it.
James. Posted 16 June 2009 Posted 16 June 2009 That reminds me, did Ultra ever apologise to The Singh?
MarkDeVries Posted 16 June 2009 Posted 16 June 2009 What the fook!!!!!!!! If this happens I will be pissed off. If they want to see a statue of Ghandi why don't they go to India?
CosbehFox Posted 16 June 2009 Posted 16 June 2009 What a waste of money. Not a bean of it is public money and it's situated in the centre of Belgrave. So I couldn't give a damn and I don't see the reason by the outcry. There's statues situated all over the place but no-one's bothered by them. For example, can anyone without a check say who Sir Robert Hall is?
Ultra Posted 16 June 2009 Posted 16 June 2009 That reminds me, did Ultra ever apologise to The Singh? As hell hasn't frozen over yet, no.

Corky Posted 16 June 2009 Posted 16 June 2009 That reminds me, did Ultra ever apologise to The Singh? After his performances on Saturday, I think the Singh should have a statue
