Ultra Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 For obvious reasons Clive Clarke Hope to see you back soon Clarkey I'm surprised he hasn't been invited to a game yet. It would give the fans the chance to show appreciation for him.
The Stig Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 I'm surprised he hasn't been invited to a game yet.It would give the fans the chance to show appreciation for him. Yes I hope that happens. If he is looking to get back in to football it would be nice if we let him train with us.
Geo V Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 Dennis Wise - World Class footballer and a real gentleman
Flynny Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 I don't think we should have got rid of Wise. Surely we could have disciplined him some other way. He was and is a willy puller but he was our willy puller.
Thracian Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 It is hard to think of anyone I wanted rid of that I later wished was here. I sometimes wonder if Zelkco Kalac would have done well. Pretty well everyone I wanted rid of quickly ended up mediocre. However, there were stacks of quality players I wish we'd kept.
General Smuts Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I never wanted Nalis to go. Spider should have stayed. Thought he was shite at the time and now hes Milan's number 3. Onthe other hand i wanted Ryan Smith to stay and look how shit he is now.
lildave3 Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I never wanted Nalis to go.Spider should have stayed. Thought he was shite at the time and now hes Milan's number 3. Onthe other hand i wanted Ryan Smith to stay and look how shit he is now. He's more than number 3. He was number 1 last time I heard. (probably wrong).
General Smuts Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 He's more than number 3. He was number 1 last time I heard. (probably wrong). Cos dida and the other one is injured.
Musty Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I suppose Keith Gillespie...looked low on confidence and past it for us in the Championship, then was suddenly playing really well in the Prem with Sheff Utd.
renards Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Many players you wish had stayed. However Gerry Daly was a loan player (possibly the most influential ever for us) Signed from Cov by Milne 81/82 season only lost in one of the 17 games he played in, promoted, he left after his loan period.
lildave3 Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Cos dida and the other one is injured. He's number 2 at least, i'm fairly sure of that.
Head Honcho Posted 1 April 2008 Author Posted 1 April 2008 Technically we could have kept Kevin Campbell but this was dependent on Gary McAllister signing for Arsenal so I suppose that wasn't the clubs fault
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Jordan Stewart.Possibly also Lilian Nalis.. Trust you
Ric Flair Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Theo Zagorakis Lars Hirschfield (perhaps?) Damien Delaney
shen Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Arnar Gunlaarghson You wanted the bloke out in the first place?
Dr The Singh Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 You wanted the bloke out in the first place? When, I love Arnie????
bringbackWalshie Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Unfortunately Clive Clarke will never play competitive football again due to medical reasons and i guess insurance.
