Flynny Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Where's the "not bothered" option? Alnwick or Hendo, much of a muchness really. Henderson will save more on the line but is less confident coming out of his area.
davieG Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 I don't care it's who's going to score some goals that's the important question!
Dr The Singh Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 I don't care it's who's going to score some goals that's the important question! Ben is a better headerer of the ball, also i've heard he's got a good shot on him, so it's Ben!!!
davieG Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Ben is a better headerer of the ball, also i've heard he's got a good shot on him, so it's Ben!!! We need some one who's good at going down in the box
SamL Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Don't vote Rab you jokers. You can't create a poll and tell people who to vote for. It's up to them at the end of the day. Why include the 'Rab' option in the poll if you don't want people to vote for him? I'd go with Alnwick. He's got the better all round package compared to Hendo.
maddog Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 It has to be Henderson. He's made a lot of quality saves, he's saved 2 penalties, his kicking is better than Alnwicks. If thats not enough to keep him in the team i don't know what is. Besides Alnwick was very average when he was playing before his injury. And his kicks are **** And going off this topic Holloway has got to be sacked at the end of the season, his record just hasn't been good enough and don't give me that time and stability bullshit, Ollie doesn't deserve to stay with us beyond this season, simple.
Daggers Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 We need some one who's good at going down in the box That'll be me then - I've never had a complaint yet.
Fox You Forest Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 That'll be me then - I've never had a complaint yet. Alnwick for me.
Chrysalis Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 I would say from best to worst in this order. Fulop Henderson Alnwick Douglas
lavrentis Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 I would say from best to worst in this order.Fulop Henderson Alnwick Douglas Whos Fulop
Micky Ruddle Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Paul Henderson. There will be too much pressure on Ben Alnwick or Annick or whatever he is called. Henderson will have experience. But, i'm not to fussed. Just as long as we win.
Leonisco Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Hendo's done a good job these last few games, but as we've seen he can't be totally relied upon as a first-choice in the long-term. Definitely Alnwick for me.
clazkel Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Hendo and Alnwick are both great shot stoppers, but neither seem to command the area very well, or come for balls they should (maybe the defence don't communicate very well with them) Hendo has done really well but i worry when the opposition has a corner, i lack confidence in him sometimes. I don't mind who out of the 2 are in goal. I hope we get Fulop in the summer!
Thracian Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Alan Shee-han. Now presented on here as "The Saviour" there'll be no chance of Colchester scoring and I can well imagine so many shots bouncing off the woodwork to one of our attackers that Colchester would quickly realise they were up against exceptional powers and give up shooting altogether.

I actually dunno whether he's joking or not.
Thracian Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 We need some one who's good at going down in the box There's a girl I met playing cricket once!
Father Ted Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 This is certainly a tough one. But I think Hendo just sneaks it but then again Alnwick is much stronger and commanding... but can't kick
filbertway Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Julian Speroni, one of the best goalkeeper's in the champ.
