Doesn't surprise me. His pace and energy have been sadly missed despite all the mocking he's had. Presumably DJ was signed as an alternative but he's a different kind of player in some ways. Can't see how Elvis would regain sufficient match fitness for the Stoke game but I'd perhaps chance him on the bench ahead of several regulars assuming he gets through tonight's game which is by no means certain.

We could do with some performance enhancing drugs, too.

And I mean performance on the pitch, not in bed Thracian. I see you reaching for the Viagras.

Elvis Hammond.

His goal at the Britannia last season was pretty special, a toe poke that wrong footed the keeper and crept in. I don't think he even meant to do it which is why there wasn't much of a celebration.

I think Matty Fryatt and Elvis Hammond started up front for that game, what dreams are made of.

:giggle:

It would be simply breath-takingly brilliant if he came back for Stoke and scored the winner, it would be the most pleasant shock and surprise of my life EVER!

Elvis Hammond is going to do it aint he?!?! (bag the winner vs stoke)

There's only one type of thing in a bag he's interested in these days...

Sub him last minute, he'll run his fat head all over the pitch and get us a goal.

Did pretty much that at Birmingham. It would be an extraordinary finale and one that would please me no end.
