Daggers Posted 5 May 2008 Author Posted 5 May 2008 At the weekend I saw my one year old nephew who has been taught to kiss the badge on his mum's Citeh shirt...There is hope. I'm on the bus. *Predictable comment regarding kissing her breast goes here*
Chimp Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Being a 'cup half full' type person, I've got my ticket for the optimistic bus. Along with the anger and dissapointment there is a small amount of excitement about going to places and seeing things we've never done before.
Filberts lovechild Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I'm on it with bells on. Are bells ok on the bus??
demon_dog Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I'm on, but only if I can take a back seat. If Ollie is on board I can jump out the emergency exit then.
StroudFox Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I'm on but what is it that we are optimistic about? Getting back into the Championship? Surviving League 1? Playing better football? Winning matches, especially back to back? Just wondering....

I'm optimistic about seeing a bit more attacking football, seeing Maxi Gradel do what he did this season, getting the odd back to back win, saying toodle-pip to more deadwood, getting to some grounds I've never been to & enjoying more terracing. I'm optimistic that the high point of my Saturdays will not be just the pub before the game. Plus, let's not forget, we are due in the Premiership in two years according to Milan's plan - which makes for some pretty exciting times over the next 24 months
Daggers Posted 6 May 2008 Author Posted 6 May 2008 My bus is more optimistic than Phubes thread. Fact.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 My bus is more optimistic than Phubes thread. Fact. Phube's got a thread? Lemme in! *jumps bandwagon*
lookwhaticando Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Here's something for you to be optimistic about, Daggsy: "We have see what was done right and wrong, correct it quickly and immediately and go forward to win games and show Leicester City in a new colour." Red away kit, then?
Daggers Posted 6 May 2008 Author Posted 6 May 2008 Here's something for you to be optimistic about, Daggsy:Red away kit, then? I thought exactly the same thing... ...unfortunately, unless they've had a rethink, the omens for that do not look good. In fact the omens look worse than an ugly woman from Nottingham. *shakes head in disbelief*
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Save a seat for me. Is that Matt Elliot with the 2 birds? It looks more like Stephen Hughes....
Dr The Singh Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I thought exactly the same thing... ...unfortunately, unless they've had a rethink, the omens for that do not look good. In fact the omens look worse than an ugly woman from Nottingham. *shakes head in disbelief* I would like to come aboard, but let's cut to the chase, are there any fit woment on board with loose morals, and if not is it going to a place where there are fit woment with loose morals???

The optimistic bus will be calling at places like Yeovil, Cheltenham and Huddersfield. In Yeovil the ladies are drunk on cider, in Cheltenham they're those posh ones from the Ladies College (right dirty ones I bet) and every girl in Huddersfield is a slapper - so there you go mate. The Third Division is simply tip-topped up with loose and wanton women

Ric Flair Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I'm on, and i'll be nicking sandwiches left, right and centre.
hairy Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I'm in. After 4 years of crap Saturday afternoons might be something to look forward to again. I just hope the right ones go and the promising young talent is given a fair go. We might even improve our home form, who knows.

thecannon Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I am actually really looking forward to next season now! After all this talk. Especially away days! I am glad this season has f**king finally done. Now we can hopefully get in some young players who are not afraid and maybe a couple of experienced players for maturity!
