lildave3 Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 I will fooking kill you all.KISNORBO IS FRICKING STAYING YOU FRICKING IDIOTS! GOSH! You do realise people can still move while their injured don't you? It's not as clear cut as you think!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 You do realise people can still move while their injured don't you? It's not as clear cut as you think! True - didn't Rooney have a broken foot when he signed for Man Utd?
Koke Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 I've come to a point where I really don't care anymore. Kisnorbo has been a great servant for us and if he does leave to Sheffield United then I wish him all the best in his career. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over him, that's for sure.
hackneyfox Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 N'Gotty, Kisnorbo & MacAuley can all go as far as I'm concerned. Can any of them actually pass a ball?
Fox You Forest Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 Wouldn't mind N'Gotty leaving, but would want to see a replacement lined up first, ideally by someone other than the current management/"scouting" team. N'Gotty, Kisnorbo & MacAuley can all go as far as I'm concerned. Can any of them actually pass a ball?
Webbo Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 N'Gotty, Kisnorbo & MacAuley can all go as far as I'm concerned. Can any of them actually pass a ball? And which ball playing, quality defender do you think we are going to sign in league 1?
Sods Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 Wouldn't mind N'Gotty leaving, but would want to see a replacement lined up first, ideally by someone other than the current management/"scouting" team. Oh yeah certainley lets get Milan on to get us a centre half.
eaststandtom Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 shame but bound to happen signing a player with a bad injury is a risk but seems kisnorbo will recover to full fitness hopefully i was hoping we would get a few games out of him. if so sell him now rather than halfway through a season. basically our defence is going. i'd be surprised if any of them inc mcauley, stearman and mattock remained
Father Ted Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 I don't know why you all hate Bruno? I really hope we can keep him for another year. As for Kisnorbo - I'd let him go for £500k. But i'm afraid it looks as if he ain't going anywhere
Father Ted Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 You do realise people can still move while their injured don't you? It's not as clear cut as you think! But you won't be able to pass a medical
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 Looking at Kisnorbo's situation 500k may not be a bad offer if the rumour is true. I would prefer to keep him ideally or sell him for £1 million plus but with his contract up next summer & him out until around xmas, that might be the best offer we get before we run the risk of losing him for nothing. I think it would be best all round for N'Gotty to go though. I think he's quite dependable, especially at this level but he must be on some fairly big wages & he's probably only got a year left in him at best so I wouldn't be fussed if he went.
General Smuts Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 But you won't be able to pass a medical My point exactly team mate. I fooking despair i really do.
lildave3 Posted 15 May 2008 Posted 15 May 2008 But you won't be able to pass a medical Then you don't have one. It's happened before.
Joinesy77 Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 Kisnorbo won't be goin anywhere cos he's injured. He can't leave One of our best players in my opinion. Not bothered if N'Gotty goes. Probably one of our biggest earners so will do us good to get him off the wage bill. Not been that impressive either and is gettin on a bit
iancognito Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 Dont see the problem with Bruno.I prefer him to Mcauley. Shocking! I wouldn't put McAuley up there with an Elliott or a Walsh, maybe not even a Spencer Prior but he's Champions League compared with N'Gotty. The 500K for Kisnorbo is fair as long as it's only a basic fee. Promotion/Sell-on & other clauses need adding in to that too. Injured or not, the guy's in his peak years and if we're going to sell that has to be taken in to consideration. Also, his agent should remember that we've stood by him now with two serious injuries. Unless I'm being silly thinking that loyalty counts for anything these days....

Jimmy Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Then you don't have one. It's happened before. for an injury this serious the clubs insurance company would insist on 1, it's not the same as Rooney he simply had a broken bone, a straight forward minor injury and before someone says it, he wasn't injured when he signed the pre-contract with us that happened afterwards
Mr Happy Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 I don't know why you all hate Bruno? I really hope we can keep him for another year. Seconded I don't see what everybodies problem is with N'Gotty. Since hes come here, admittedly hes not played alot but when he has, he hasn't done much wrong. Hes experienced enough to cope and rise to the occasion, yeah so he hasn't the pace anymore but hes done no worse than Howard or Hayles and when hes taken over from Kissa or McAuey IMO hes often performed better than them. I only see that his wages could be a big problem other than that I'd keep him for another season. Who else would we sign if we got rid of bruno and his impressive pedigree??
Vennegoor10 Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 It's not just Bruno's pace thats the problem. He seems shaky when playing at the back and he isnt as quick of the mark mentally as he once was, for example if anyone cares to take another look at the blackpool goal at the walkers, Bruno's looking slow and not focussed. Too old for the wages he probably expects, certainly no better that Macca or Kisonorbo. Get rid asap

Get rid asap Given that play should have been stopped a full minute before that goal was scored, it's not surprising! If you went through the whole of the season, you could highlight plenty of mistakes by Macca or Kis for goals conceded.
BigGibbo Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 Take the money & run! It would be a godsend to get N'Gotty off the wagebill & Kissa will leave for nothing next summer anyway.
FilboFox Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 Milan Out!Aldridge Out! Holloway Out! Breacker Out! Bulpin Out! Penrice Out! Levein's signings Out! Kelly's signings Out! Allen's signings Out! Holloway's signings Out! Get rid of the fooking lot!!!!!!! There will be no-one left at the club... WE COULD TAKE OVER!!!
FilboFox Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 I'd be delighted with N'Gotty leaving... he's old, slow and generally crap now. Kisnorbo, I really would like to stay... I think much depends on how we are doing at Christmas. If we are looking like we could well get promotion to the Championship in our first year down, he might think about staying BUT if we are struggling, he'll want to jump ship and so it would be wiser to sell up now rather than get nothing for him... then again, if we are playing well and are near the top... he may be persuaded to stay and be one of the important players at the club going back into the Championship... Its hit and miss... we take a risk either way, selling him or keeping him... I'd rather he stayed but it could well be a safer option to sell which is a real shame.
