Kisnorbo...

Sheffield United are interested in signing former Hearts of Midlothian defender Patrick Kisnorbo from relegated Leicester City.

The defender was sent-off twice last season, once at Bramall lane after only 10 minutes in a 3-0 defeat (and a James Beattie hat-trick). he joined the Foxes on a free transfer in April 2007 and has gone onto make 126 (+4) appearances with the Walkers Stadium club and score 12 goals.

Kisnorbo, 27 is an Australian international (5 caps) but is also believed to be wanted by former club Hearts. It is believed that the Blades could obtain the former South Melbourne defender in the region of £500,000. (WTF?!)

N'Gotty

Kevin Blackwell is making former AC Milan, Marsaille, Bolton Wanderers and Birmingham City defender Bruno N'Gotty one of his summer signings from Leicester City.

N'Gotty, 36 has been capped by his Country six times and is likely to be allowed to leave the Walkers Stadium following their demise to Coca-Cola Football League One.

The defender, who signed for a free transfer in June 2007 from Birmingham City and has to date played 34 (+9) appearances for the Foxes without scoring any goals. The 1996 UEFA Cup Winner played a part in both 1-0 and 3-0 defeats against Sheffield United in the 2007-08 Championship season.

They're welcome to both of them, but Kisnorbo is surely worth at least 1 million?

He is but he is injured and i think only has a year left on his contract.

Kisnorbo's deal is up next summer and he'll be able to walk away for nothing, £500,000 does seem quite low, but he's not going to be properly fit until November/December time and by then, he's only got 6 months left on his deal and could sign a pre-contract with an overseas club.

I'd be amazed if anyone does pay big money for him whilst he's out injured.

£500k for an injured Kisnorbo sounds unlikely, but I hope the N'Gotty deal is true, it would be best for both parties!!

I happen to agree with Ric, I can't see him leaving this summer, and if he's not 100% by January, he will just leave on a free in summer!!!

Thay can have N'Gotty, but £500,000 for Kisnorbo is a derisory offer.

I would think Milan and Ollie would take offence to such an offer.

I dont want him to go at all, but we have to be realistic! :(

They better sign N'Gotty. They owe us that after losing to Saints on the final day........ And Kisnorbo for 500k, it might be good for both parties, as he is injured and out of contract next year.

Probably a crap rumour, but I wouldn't mind it, if it was to be real.

From what I've heard, Kisnorbo's agent has always been, how shall we put it, proactive in negotiating potential moves away from the club, I assume to 'help' when in contract negotiations with City. I wouldn't expect him to be around much longer

I have a feeling we will have to part pay N'Gotty's wages to get someone to take him off our hands.

With regards Kisnorbo, it seems like a classic Leicester move of not accepting good offers when they come in, only to have virtually give the player away in the end.

If you think of the money we could have raked in for players only to have to see them leave on the cheap, it is quite soul destroying. As Ric Flair says, he's only got 1 year left on his contract and he's injured for 6 months of that.

N'Gotty wont want to leave. Has another year left on his contract and there aren't any clubs as daft as ours to match his, no-doubt, ridiculously over the top wages...

I'd be pretty gutted if Kisnorbo went but I've resigned myself to him leaving eventually seeing as his contract's up in a year.

They can happily take Bruno and his probably crazy wages off our hands if they wish.

any money we can get for Bruno (£1.00) will be a good thing - lets get rid of these old journeymen - the sooner the better

Wouldn't mind N'Gotty leaving, but would want to see a replacement lined up first, ideally by someone other than the current management/"scouting" team.
