Alexikokopops Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I'm moving from Coventry to Reading today. I say Reading, I'm actually staying in Newbury with my sister because my house fell through, so we're sorting out a new one. But I'll be down that area. I'm actually starting work properly on Thursday, so I don't know how much I'll be around. 'Mare. Have fun chaps.
Daggers Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 What did the house fall through and why isn't it in the news?
Floating Fox Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Alex and work. I just can't imagine it. You sound like you've got a quality job though mate, hope you enjoy it !
Alexikokopops Posted 27 May 2008 Author Posted 27 May 2008 What did the house fall through and why isn't it in the news? We'd got our holding deposit down, were sorting out paying the security deposit with the agents and stuff and the landlord decided he didn't want three professionals sharing, but wanted a couple, even though the property is advertised as a three (double) bedroom house. Frustratingly enough it took a week for him to inform us of this because he's abroad.
James. Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I lived in Reading for 4 years. Great time, shit place. Good luck.

We're looking to be quite central. Found some more places to look at, so gonna try and get them viewed and hopefully accept one. Looks like I'll be at my sisters for a bit though. At least I get stuff cooked for me again.

Master Fox Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 There's a world, that's waiting to unfold, a brand new tale, no one has ever told, we've journey'd far but, you know it won't be long, we're almost there and we've paid our fare, with the hobo song. Maybe tomorrow I'll find what I call home, until tomorrow, you know I'm free to roam
