This idea is actually very tempting presuming I can save up over the summer and will have some money left over after getting a new car.

Looking into it.

Wouldnt waste the pennies Tom.

Will be hard to get a match ticket, airline prices will rocket up and England will only scrape a 3-0 victory like last time.

Could always join Englandfans to get tickets I suppose. Airline prices might go up a tad but you could alleviate that by taking an indirect flight. Oh and England will win 5-0. Capello will take no crap. Never watched England away before and this is the only qualifier that really appeals (no way I'm going to Kazakhstan or Belarus) so I could be kidding myself.

Belarus is meant to be class. My Uncle had his stag weekend out there and loved it, but yet again airlines will wack the prices up.

Why go abroad the watch England? I could wear a Sombrero hat and have a few Pesata's in my living room and still make it a european atmosphere.

(Scotland is only permitted in my house)

I should bear that in mind. Eastern European girls and cheap booze will always be good. Kiev might be half decent and Zagreb could be but I can't imagine it being anything other than scary. Like Istanbul.

Just got back from Marseille. 20 GBP return flights with ryan air inc tax.

31 degrees and not a cloud in sight.

Awesome place, expensive when you're out there though. Average price of a pint i about 6 Euro.

Istanbul and Zagreb scary? Why?

Couple of friends of mine went to Istanbul the other week and said it was brilliant. And I although I didn't go to Zagreb I've been to and travelled round Croatia and it's a fantastic place. Seems like some countries struggle to shake off dated, inaccurate stereotypes in some people's eyes.

Anyway, I'm off to Serbia via Budapest on Wednesday for Exit and I can't f**king wait!
