unlucky there, he can take a lot of positives from this though. Lehecka played well above himself and got a superb break to go 6-5 up. Tough to take no doubt but got Wimbledon coming and that was a good workout going into that tournament

I'm only a tennis casual but Andy Roddick's channel popped up on my YT feed.

He's a brilliant listen and if you want to hear an American absolutely drool over Wimbledon for 20 mins , watch this.

Interesting.  I have to say I find wimbledon the dullest of the GS, I was all for changing the stuffy traditions and getting wimbledon to move with the times, I thought it would it more interesting, especially to a younger audience.  But it's nice to hear an American lauding over wimbledon.

Why is it in women's tennis there's so many 6-1 and 6-2 set scorelines? It's as if they get broken and then collapse for the rest of the set. And it happens to some of the best players too.

I don't quite understand the postponing of ongoing games because it's late. It seems very unfair. Certain players and coaches have time now to study opposition tactics, any momentum is killed especially for outsiders, fatigue factor is thrown out of the window.

Is it just me I find it unfair? Just have all late evening games start at around 6:30 or 7pm? Worse case scenario they'll finish around 12pm?

There is an 11pm curfew from the local council so not to upset neighbours but suppose if it’s in the 5th set the match won’t last that long .

Ridiculous. Spain, Greece and Italy don't have any of these stupid curfews and they all have football and basketball games finishing many times after 12am. Then fans go to bars that stay open until 2 or even 3am and most of these bars are inside neighbourhoods. Nobody is complaining. What's the point having a curfew for a tennis match? Tennis hooligans will go rampage?

Zverev losing isn't a big shock. He's seeded third but doesn't have a great Wimbledon record. Never gone past R4. Bit like Wawrinka, awful record at Wimbledon compared to his ranking. Grass is such a unique surface and the grass season is so short, its why it brings up these kind of results.

His opponent had never beaten a top 5 seeded player in his career though. Zverev still should have been beating him. Especially in R1.
