Hullfox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 I hope Mandaric has tucked him up by accepting a bid of £1 more from Barnsley. He wanted football at a higher level, MM gave him it. This has actually made me smile.
Simi Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 If Mandaric and Hoos are to be believed, Hume wanted out. If so, bollocks to him after what he said when we went down. If they are lying, it explains his departure to Barnsley of all places as the club obviously wanted shot of him and he had no choice but to join the shit arses. Relegation hitting home now with these depatures. Must say I am gutted at the same time pissed off at what he said when we got relegated.
Fox You Forest Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Best of luck to him at mighty Barnsley. Good price for him 1.2m
Master Fox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 So much of a hero now is he. Proves he couldn't give a fcuk about you or Leicester. Fools. Stop crying about it, he was fcuking sh*t anyway
Toby or not Toby Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 We will bounce back with two signings of our own tommorow, I hope
Milky Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 We will bounce back with two signing of our own tommoro, I hope :crylaugh:
Unabomber Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 So much of a hero now is he.Proves he couldn't give a fcuk about you or Leicester. Fools. Stop crying about it, he was fcuking sh*t anyway No offence but does that chip on your shoulder weigh you down? Btw I personally am very glad we sold HUME for that amount
Cheese Me Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 THEY RELEGATED US! To be fair Stears did play his heart out and Hume seemed to be running a one man survival campaign at the end of the season that just wasn't quite enough. These two players were not responsible for our relegation. I'm genuinely gutted about this, Hume would have been one of the first names on my team sheet for next year and I worry where the goals will come from. I'm hoping Chambers can step up or Fryatt rediscovers his goal scoring form but Hume was the safest option for getting the goals we need to battling at the top end of this league. It's all a far cry from this time last year isn't it
Mickey O'Neil Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 2.8Million for these two is a good bit of business.People moan now, but during the whole of last season people were always had something to say about them. I have faith in Pearson to sign some good replacements for these 2. Im not too unhappy about these sales tbh, as long as we keep Mattock. Will never forget Hume for some good memories, Stearman I can't think of as many. But 2.8Million can go a long way in League1. Chin up people. Agree with this post, although I'd change it to 'Just OK bit of business'. I feel slightly shafted, but there you go. When's the fuking rest of the strikers going to be sold, that's what I want to know.
GLC Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 gutted best player for past few years. never stopped running shame coz he'll be remembered for missing that penalty that probably sent us down
Monk Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Not surprised, he deserves a new start after the way we've shafted him around. Sad to see him go but I'm sure we can pull together what it takes to score goals in this division, with the remaining strikeforce or otherwise.
Master Fox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 No offence but does that chip on your shoulder weigh you down? Probably not as much as the huge amount of congealed faeces hanging from the hairs in your arsehole
ronnup Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Not surprised, he deserves a new start after the way we've shafted him around. Sad to see him go but I'm sure we can pull together what it takes to score goals in this division, with the remaining strikeforce or otherwise. not too keen on all this 'poor old lads' stuff. This team drove us in to league 1 , with more than enough quality to finish top 6. Fook them all. I'd happily sell evryone over 21.
Monk Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Smacks of asset stripping..... Ha we'll get an OS message next week "I'm off! says Mandy" Today Milan Mandaric confirmed he is heading to the Bahamas with a sackful of cash following the wholesale departure of the entire LCFC squad. I can see it now...
FleckneyFox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 For me realisation we are in League 1 has really hit home now
Corky Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Ha we'll get an OS message next week"I'm off! says Mandy" Today Milan Mandaric confirmed he is heading to the Bahamas with a sackful of cash following the wholesale departure of the entire LCFC squad. I can see it now... "Mr Mandaric has also taken Nigel Pearson with him"
SamL Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Good luck to him, he's been easily our best player of the past few years. Shame we couldn't keep hold of him but on the other hand he contributed to our downfall.
Alexikokopops Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Probably not as much as the huge amount of congealed faeces hanging from the hairs in your arsehole HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
TaskFox1 Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Bit dissapointed to see Hume leave but 1.2m isn't too bad, if the money can be spent!!! There wasn't many players that came out of last season with any credit but Hume was one. Would have ripped up this div this season. by the way Hello thought i'd finally register after browsing for a while.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 If Mandaric and Hoos are to be believed, Hume wanted out. If so, bollocks to him after what he said when we went down. If they are lying, it explains his departure to Barnsley of all places as the club obviously wanted shot of him and he had no choice but to join the shit arses. That's pretty much what I was going to say, but you beat me to it Ric (and yay me for reading through the thread before saying exactly the same as someone else) I seem to remember, almost the day after we were relegated, Hume saying that the players who got City relegated should be the ones to get City back up. So, he's back in the Championship. Hope he enjoys playing in front of an average crowd of 11,424 (Barnsley's average last season) EDIT: Found the relevent quote on the OS, http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1306899,00.html Not looking to move my arse!
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 So Hume did not want to play League 1 football.... Smacks of Dickovitis to me.. Check beneath my sig....
