Hackneyisblue Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Is Max Gradel a left or right winger, some confusion on Bentleys and I've never seen him play? Cheers
Bryn Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 I think he played on the right throughout his academy and reserve time but played on the left for Bournemouth.
Darkzzz_ Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Can we clone him, i want a squad of Max Gradel's... To answer your question your best of asking someone who has watched him more than a few times. I seen him playing on the right one game.....
Unabomber Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 I think he will play on the right as both Dyer and Adams say they prefer to play on the left in the videos on world. Ah feels good discussng wingers at LCFC
DanTheFox07 Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Ive seen him play quite a few times as i live in bournemouth, He seem`s to be suited as a left winger, so think dyer will play on the right but only time will tell!
Mark Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Naturally right but played on the left alot of the time for Bournemouth.
Ric Flair Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 He can play anywhere. He get's a lot of success cutting in from the left though. We may have an embarrassment of riches on the left hand side with Dyer, Adams and Gradel. I hope all 3 play. Perhaps we will play a 4-2-3-1
DanTheFox07 Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Im sure they`ll find out who is best suited to Rw and Lw during the pre season friendlies.

Perhaps we will play a 4-2-3-1 In which case all talk of Perricard and McLeod is just idle speculation and there will still be some 'so-called' strikers getting the boot.
Collymore Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 He was given a free role at Bournemouth which is one of the reasons the Bournemouth fans thought he was so effective. I think NP will want him to be more disciplined but I hope he gets a licence to roam every now and then... If Dyer lives up to the hype and he can play either wing then I would like to see us employ some swapping tactics. The full backs won't know what's hit them!
DanTheFox07 Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 In which case all talk of Perricard and McLeod is just idle speculation and there will still be some 'so-called' strikers getting the boot. Can`t see us signing perricard after all the trouble he got in at stoke, the guy is a liability! Its bad enough that our strikers struggled to peform on a regular basis, we don`t need any players here causing problem`s, besides i think that we still need to offload a striker! judging by steve howards face in training he doesn`t look best pleased so I think he doesn`t want to be here?
Ozwin Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Perhaps we will play a 4-2-3-1 Like Argentina?! Us? The mind boggles.
GianEmmo Zola Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 He can play anywhere. He get's a lot of success cutting in from the left though. We may have an embarrassment of riches on the left hand side with Dyer, Adams and Gradel. I hope all 3 play. Perhaps we will play a 4-2-3-1 what with this team! Henderson Chambers Ngotty Morrison Harte Wesolowski Kishishev Dyer Adams Gradel Howard
woznotwos Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 i just remember last season when the leeds fans were asking after the winger that kept tearing there team apart , remember them saying he was the best player they'd watched all season cant wait!!!!
Jon the Hat Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 The question is how many fans write off Pearson when Gradel doesn't start the first game.
Thracian Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 It doesn't matter at all to Gradel, only to the opposition defenders who would probably prefer to be on whichever side Gradel's not!
lookwhaticando Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 I think a more pertinent question is: Max Gradel - stay or go?

Webbo Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 I think a more pertinent question is: Max Gradel - stay or go? Exactly.
