I'd put Chambers up front with Fryatt personally but other than that pretty much what I'd go with Yeah, I was thinking should I go with Fryatt or Chambers but then I went with Fryatt because to be fair he's scored 2 goals in 2 games. :laugh: at people picking strongest XI. We've got plenty of pre-season games to go before we'll be thinking about fielding a first XI. I'd expect to see another mix of youth and experience tomorrow, nothing close to the first XI. I'd be surprised if Pearson had thought about it much yet.

teblin Posted 21 July 2008 Posted 21 July 2008 Looking at that squad, we really need another full back(left preferred). I know chambers can do a job at left back but thats the only place that worried me. Other than that i'd be fairly pleased with the squad as it is going into the season.

This is what i consider our strongest defence at the minute so I want them to play together as much as possible. The midfield and strikers can be anyone really.

Anyway, I'm not going to this because I need to save some cash for better spending i.e. next season. Logan (I want to see what he's like now) Gilbert --- Morrison --- Tunchev --- Mattock Dyer --- Adams --- Clemence --- Gradel Howard --- DJ Looks to me, our best team on paper from what I've seen/heard so far (apart from Clemence/DJ/Howard who I'm determined to see come good).

Hoping that Chambers can get the best out of the big man
