We'll win tonight, Sappleton will score at least once and there will be at least 10 posters under the age of 18 that will proclaim that Sappleton and some of the other youngsters should be in the first team because of this.

Im 20 and i already think he should be in the first team, always.

And the trialist - that northern irish fella Lowry maybe?

WTF!

£4 to watch youngsters!

If I wanted to watch youngsters I would go to a youth game or a reserve game but FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

£7 to watch what wouldn't be classed as a reserve side, reserve games last year were £3.

The only consolation is that I presume it all goes into Quorn's coffers.

I wonder who the trailist is :) im well excited now ;) not going to watch. Will listen on the radio though if its on. tbh todays team was always going to be a reserve or young side, we are playing Quorn there wouldnt be any point in our "first teamers" playing. They wont be able to prove much on a shite pitch against shite players.

Young players can prove their natural ability i.e. Pace, Flair, Sharpness etc. It is a good chance for the sappletizer to put a few in the net.

I like the way Pearson is working with the sqaud, he is giving everyone a chance and i truly beleive this is the best way to work a sqaud.

Players playing in each match should be working their arse off to keep their slot in the team.

I think they already make a fortune with their meat substitute food range. I wonder if all the players have to be vegetablarians.

Substitutes: Pentney, McKay, King C, Burns.

Not sure that would even be especially good even as an Academy side cos I've no idea where the balance is going to come from.

Perhaps Pearson wants to be sure that Oakley/Weso/Kishishev look like our best midfielders because if King and Porter inspire a win out of that lot they'll deserve to be heroes. :D

As for McKay now lining up as reserve for what amounts to an indifferent reserve team, the only thing I can think of is that's it's a psychological ploy to get the lad used to disappointment.
